After visiting the area, which is beautiful, we decided to grab some food.
It was about 6pm so we didn’t have a lot to choose from as it was quite early, this restaurant had just opened its doors so we decided to eat there.
Even on a Monday lunchtime it was very busy, as the locals know where to get good food, at a reasonable price.
Delicious salade de chevre starter, and the pork was tender as anything. Also very tempted by the pumpkin soup.. next time !
This is a small brasserie; arrive early or make reservations. Nicely decorated and clean. We had great food: pumpkin/chestnut soup (I asked to opt out of the foie gras and creme fraiche). Brochette of “cailles “(quail) served with fresh fries. Service was efficient and very...More
Chez Hansi was recommended by the Villa owner and it didn't disappoint. Worth booking as this place is very popular. Great tasting dishes using fresh local produce as part of the set lunch, but plenty of choice. Service was great, with a waitress who spoke...More
We were again pleased to be able to partake in the dishes prepared at this lovely casual restaurant in Pezenas. While my wife enjoyed the house made pate fois gras ( which is a 3 day preparation) my daughter had the fish terrine, unusual and...More
Just about managed to get a table after hanging around for a bit until a table of 4 left. There were many interesting dishes on the menu (Rabbit, Guinea Fowl and Quail were some of the options) and there was a good selection of desserts....More
We had a most excellent meal here in the evening, the full evening menu priced at €22 for 3 courses and a carafe of wine for the excellent price of €5. I had the salad du chef as a starter, the salad was very fashionably...More
At 14.50euros for two courses and 5 euros for a demi carafe of very nice rose wine, we will definitely return to this little gem!
Lovely atmosphere, typically French, attentive but not intrusive staff, a great choice for the set menus across a range of...More

We had several meals at this small restaurant in the old medieval town of Pezenas. The food was typically French, extremely tasty, well prepared and well presented. The staff make you feel very welcome and are efficient and attentive. I would particularly recommend the goat’s...More
