We came here after over 80 recommendations on a local social media group on Facebook. It didn't disappoint. Food was beautiful, steaks cooked perfectly, service great, staff very polite, restaurant spotlessly clean & a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival. If you're in Pissouri then you must pay Michael's a visit. A bit more expensive than a lot of other local restaurants but it's more upmarket so worth paying a little bit more.
Definitely returning next year.

Complimentary bubbly, bread and lovely dips put everyone in a good mood whilst we read through the menu again. On this occasion I opted not to have steak but to try the fish.
Whilst we were waiting for the main courses we all enjoyed a variety of starters with murmurs of appreciation and comments like “oh you must try this”. In the end we all sampled each other’s. I still think my crab salad with mango was the best. My friends might disagree! The halibut for the main course was utterly divine. Those who had steak were in seventh heaven. None of us made it to the desserts. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Do go to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were so polite and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised when they gave us a free taster, which was the soup of the day. They also gave us a free glass of champagne.
We were a group of 9 adults, we didn’t wait long for the food. I had the lamb shank with potatoes and vegetables, my husband had the T-bone steak with chips and salad. Everything was divine. Thanks to Micheal and all his staff for a wonderful meal.

We had a wonderful family evening a SteakHouse by Michael in Pissouri. Michael has a true passion for good food and wine. It clearly shows in every aspect and detail of the dining experience. From his own homemade olive oil with herbs to outstanding Cypriot wines and of course the perfectly grilled tender beef. We will meet again!

We had drinks here one evening, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were so attentive and friendly. We decided to come back and try the food. We were blown away with our meal a definite 10/10 it was so good we came back and enjoyed another fantastic meal here. The staff remembered us and helped us pick a suitable bottle of wine with our meal, they are very professional and make you feel like a valued customer. If you get a chance you must visit for a meal or drinks you will not be disappointed.

So good we ended up eating here 3 nights, I can’t praise up this restaurant enough, the service and atmosphere was first class.
We had steaks which were cooked to perfection, nothing was too much, they even got some wine in specially as they were out of the one we liked.
It’s a bit out the way but definitely worth visiting.

Great Steaks here with a choice of different sauces to choose from. Dauphinois Potatoes and deliciously cooked vegetables come served with your mains. Michael & his Staff are Super Attentive without a doubt. We will be back.

Michael has succeeded in making his restaurant stand out from the rest of the restaurants in Pissouri by paying attention to a few small details. The glass of fizz and amuse bouche on arrival are nice touches that make a meal feel more special. The steaks are excellent as is their pasta dishes for vegetarians/children. We went as a family with a young child and whilst it's probably not best suited to young children we coped and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think this restaurant is ideal for a celebration meal with adults who can enjoy the wine and a few cocktails. Great work and a brilliant addition to the village

Initially we were somewhat hesitant about visiting a steakhouse in Cyprus as we didn't think of Cyprus as "beef territory". However, we were so impressed by the superb quality of the food and service that we returned three times during our 3-week stay.
On being seated, we were presented with complimentary glasses of Prosecco as well as a small taster of excellent house soup. Our starter dishes of scallops were "melt in your mouth stuff" and beautifully presented.
The aged ribeye steak and fillets were perfectly grilled as ordered, and the vegetable side dishes were delicious.
The staff were helpful in recommending a local wine to complement the steaks.
The atmosphere was informal and relaxed, and we appreciated the fact that there was a suitable distance between tables.
If anyone in your party would prefer not to eat meat, other options are available.

Had a fantastic meal here. Went with my wife and daughter (7 months old). Staff were efficient and polite and provided a high chair. The food is really good- I particularly recommend the chateaubriand which was perhaps the best steak I’ve ever eaten (had it medium rare). At 30 euros for such a good cut of beef including 2 sauces, potatoes cooked in a dauphinois style and plenty of veg, I consider it very good value.
Enjoyed the complementary Prosecco on arrival.
Having a young baby it was really great that the service was so quick- this was probably helped by us being in as soon as they opened at 6pm. We didn’t have room for desert.
Can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Another 2 visits to Michaels during our visit to Pissouri. Both equally as good. Both the rib eye and porterhouse steaks were cooked perfectly with delicious inclusive sides. My wife had halibut for her main and scallops to start on both visits, perfection both times, a very Happy wife gives me a Happy life.
The service is impeccable without being pretentious or over bearing.
Whilst the price is slightly more than most of the other local restaurants it is definitely worth it. When you take into account the free choice of sauce with your mains that others charge for and the different vegetables, potatoes, red cabbage etc that is included it is by far the best value in the area. Not to mention a glass of champagne on the house which is not advertised but has been given to us on every visit.

I can’t recommend ‘Steakhouse by Michael’ in Pissouri enough. I booked to celebrate my nieces’ 15th birthday and the whole evening was wonderful. Fantastic cuts of meat, excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service. From the chefs amuse bouche and a welcome glass of fizz to start, accommodating my fussy youngest with a plate of plain spaghetti, beautifully presented and tasty starters followed by succulent cuts of meat (tenderloin, tomahawk, chateaubriand, filet mignon included) polished off with a surprise birthday cake from Michael for the birthday pair. A superb evening, great service from Michael and the team, well worth a visit.

We had visited for cocktails several nights during our holiday as they are definitely the best around, particularly the Margarita and Whiskey Sour! During our last few days of holiday we decided to eat here too. We are so glad we did. From complimentary glasses of fizz to begin with through to an amazing dessert made in house it was perfect. We both loved our starters and the bread and accompaniments. As steak fans we both ordered a porterhouse. We have eaten this cut in a few restaurants around Europe and we can honestly say this was up there as one of the best ones we have both had!! It was delicious and tender and was lovely to eat from start to finish. We accompanied this with a Cypriot red wine recommended to us by Michael and that too was spot on. The service was personal and attentive but not overbearing. If you are in Pissouri you have to go here you won't regret it... our only regret is that we won't fit in a second visit before we go home.

I cannot rate Michaels highly enough. The experience was amazing from start to finish. A hidden gem at the top of the village, Michael, Christos and the rest of the staff were amazing throughout, attending to our every need. The food is stunning both in preparation and taste. The steaks melt in the mouth, with our party each trying something different ranging from Veal to Chateuxbriand each anazing in their own right and perfectly cooked. The wine selection is fantastic and all items on the menu are reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. I can definitely see why it's ranked so highly on here.

Unfortunately for us, we discovered this gem of a place on the last day of a 2 week holiday, staying 8 minutes away.
From arrival everything was superb.
Welcomed in, seated inside in air-conditioned restaurant, looks new, very modern and classy.
We were given complimentary fizz when seated, followed by complimentary " shot" of tomato soup, which was absolutely delicious, wish I had a bowl full!
Following that was complimentary bread, with 2 types of olive oil and chefs butter. Again, delicious.
We chose scallops and Tempura halloumi, both were absolutely stunning.
We then had surf and turf and New York strip.
These were accompanied with dauphinoise potatoes and some beautifully cooked fresh veg.
The mains were beyond amazing. The steaks were stunning.
Incredibly tender and juicy, some of the best I have had.
Everything about the experience was superb. The setting, the service, and the food.
This was my 3rd visit to Cyprus and I have not eaten anywhere that even comes close to this one.
Can't recommend highly enough.
