I'm a local who lives in walking distance of tamarind. It was our regular "go-to". But it has closed down suddenly and without warning. Sorry to see it go.

Tamarind Thai is 'our' number one go to place for fast food that is both healthy, tasty and very quick service (when they are not too busy). We have been several times now and mostly use this friendly staffed restaurant for take-away dining at home. The Thai tastes are both amazing and definetely 'authentic' (we don't agree with another reviewer).Our... More

Went out for a lovely dinner with friend and the restaurant was quiet so it made for having a conversation easy without having to shout over others

On a business trip. I had Char Kway Teow. A really big serving for one person, good price. The taste was fine, but the noodles a little over cooked, as they were in small pieces. Service quick and friendly

Hi gays, if you really want authentic Thai, this is not the one. Was there on Friday night. We ordered green curry, bamboo chicken, gadogado and special fried rice. So basically the food there are overrated. We didn't eat much of the bamboo chicken, it was too creamy and oily. Gadogado was not original. If you seriously want Thai food... More

Fantastic service and delicious food. Love our little local Thai restaurant. We have tried almost everything on the menu and are never disappointed.

This is one of my favourite take-away restaurants. The food always tastes fresh and is very flavoursome. The menu is extensive but NOT expensive, covering a range of meat, chicken and fish/seafood dishes as well as vegetarian options. Food is generally ready in 5-10 minutes, making Tamarind Thai a good option when there's nothing in the fridge at home.

This place is tucked away in the corner of a suburban shopping centre, heaps of parking and relatively easy to find, the building itself could use some renovation or tidy up as its looking tired both inside and out, plenty of seating available for those who wish to dine in. I got Green Thai Chicken Curry with rice which was... More
