The first time back to Farang bar in over 7 years I had a great night and the food is so yummy. The staff are very friendly I had a good laugh with the owner who after I'd drank one to many beers gave me a lift to my hotel. They have rooms also so if u need a place... More

I frequently stop by this little spot and have done for many years. I have to say that these guys can never do enough. I travel the area regularly by motorcycle and decided to make a pitstop here to watch football. The owner arranged for wine to be brought in, I parked the bike and was served to perfection by... It's #1 on trip advisor but it's nothing special. English owned which must attract the English. There only 4 people in there when we visited one was the owner himself. Pleasant chap but did nothing but slate other local businesses which I didn't consider to be very professional. If your looking for a big screen English feel and conversation for... More

Farang Bar was everything and more than I needed it to be. Massaman Curry was great cold beer hit the spot, shower got me clean and bedroom was cool with no AC. I got a wealth of information from staff and other expats drinking there. They even arranged my bus and boat for the next day. Thanks folks.

We found ourselves with 6 hours to kill between arriving from Koh Tao and travelling on by train to Bangkok. Very glad we found the Farang Bar. Walking distance from the train station, great food at a reasonable price, and no pressure to keep on spending. Sky Sports on a big screen helped pass the time. Our visit happened to... More

This place is awesome. Killing time waiting for a train to Bangkok. Fantastic place for good food and dare I say it but one of the best long Island ice teas ever. The owner Ivor is very hospitable. But as my title says, the pies are amazing. I had steak and ale pie with mash and gravy. Another plus point... More

A good tourist /expat friendly bar, decent bar food, fair priced drinks and friendly chatty staff with a good sized sports TV.

Good food & drink with reasonable price. Friendly staff & pleasant atmosphere. My boyfriend had a homemade chicken pie with mash, gravy & mix vegetables - the gravy tastes nothing like the gravy in UK (a little bit sour & spicy). Yummy Chips.

This is a great little hub in Chumphon where you can find a hive of local knowledge. Friendly owner and staff. Food is good, beers are cold.

We are a simple, friendly, family run budget-style guesthouse with only eight twin or double bed rooms. One room of three single beds. No dormitories.
We have our own restaurant offering both Thai and Western food.
Our public bar is popular with travelers and locals alike, well stocked with extremely cold beer and specialty cocktails.

We help with the full range of travel advice and ticketing.

The English owner has lived locally and on the islands for nearly fifteen years so is very well connected with many dive shops and resorts on all islands, particularly Koh Tao where he still spends a lot of time to keep information up to date.
