This place is awesome. Killing time waiting for a train to Bangkok. Fantastic place for good food and dare I say it but one of the best long Island ice teas ever. The owner Ivor is very hospitable. But as my title says, the pies are amazing. I had steak and ale pie with mash and gravy. Another plus point... More

A good tourist /expat friendly bar, decent bar food, fair priced drinks and friendly chatty staff with a good sized sports TV.

Good food & drink with reasonable price. Friendly staff & pleasant atmosphere. My boyfriend had a homemade chicken pie with mash, gravy & mix vegetables - the gravy tastes nothing like the gravy in UK (a little bit sour & spicy). Yummy Chips.

This is a great little hub in Chumphon where you can find a hive of local knowledge. Friendly owner and staff. Food is good, beers are cold.

I've tried their Samosas, Spring Rolls, and Carbonara. I didn't like their spring rolls too much, (too greasy...although many restaurants cannot get this quite right). Their Samosas are actually really good and the price is acceptable. Carbonara with bacon was good. The sauce was different....and they charge for extra sauce. But it was ok. Fon makes for excellent eye candy... More

Nice little place to eat and have a drink while waiting for the train at chumphon. Worth the little walk it's takes to get there as you're away from the busy street. Food is nice and tasty.

We where here while waiting for the nighttrain to BKK after arriving from Ko Tao. Had a good varierty of both western and Thai food. I had the beef burger which was really tasty. Their is also an hostel behind the restaurant so it seems also be a nice place to meet fellow travelers. I would recommend it if you... More

Two hours to kill before overnight train to Bangkok - went to bar closest to the station and would have stayed if we hadn't checked trip advisor and made the ten minute walk to farang. Very glad we did as it's great - Very good Thai and western options and (in contrast to many places in Thailand) the beers were... More

Description
We are a simple, friendly, family run budget-style guesthouse with only eight twin or double bed rooms. One room of three single beds. No dormitories.
We have our own restaurant offering both Thai and Western food.
Our public bar is popular with travelers and locals alike, well stocked with extremely cold beer and specialty cocktails.

We help with the full range of travel advice and ticketing.

The English owner has lived locally and on the islands for nearly fifteen years so is very well connected with many dive shops and resorts on all islands, particularly Koh Tao where he still spends a lot of time to keep information up to date.
