Cottage Point Inn is a superb restaurant in all aspects - the food, the wine, the view and the service. The wealthy arrive by boat or seaplane but we plebs made it down long flights of steps. The degustation was AUD145 and looked too much...More

I had organised a weekend away at Cottage Point Inn to propose to my girlfriend. We flew up with Sydney Seaplanes and spent the night in the apartment above the restaurant. The week before we were due to go, Ally one of the owners called...More

Beautiful spot, amazing food and very interesting, service was perfect. We drove to Cottage Point and found it easy to park (mid week) and only a short walk down to the water's edge.

Having been to this restaurant many times over the past 20 years I have to admit the last visit was disappointing. We received a promotional offer with the new chef arriving recently so thought we'd give it another go. We arrived at 1.04pm and still...More

Location amazing, food really really good. Service was just average when we went. Slow, not really paying attention to us. Courteous but a bit indifferent. Wine matching splendid.

We visited for my daughters 21st as a party of 7 and enjoyed the most amazing lunch, brought to us by friendly knowledgeable staff. The 7 course degustation menu was fairly seafood orientated but in this setting why wouldn't you when your sitting right next...More

What a total disappointment - went here with another couple to celebrate my friend's wife's birthday. We were shown to our table and left alone for around 45 minutes - no menus, no water, nothing even though we stopped 2 waiters while they were serving...More

Everything from the food, wine, service and location is first class. We chose to order off the menu rather than do the degustation as we weren't that hungry and our meals were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Good size serves and a good variety of...More

We returned to our favourite, been dining there for 30yrs. A dinner and accomodation voucher was an ideal way to check in with new owners Ally and Shane. Their new Chef couldn't have wowed us any better. We described the service, as beyond great, the...More

We said that we would not return for quite a while after our last visit, as it was not pleasant, food wise. The new chef is a breath of fresh air, his menu is inspiring. It is light but so flavorful, an absolute pleasure. We...More

I don't think it is byo as it is a two hatted restaurant. You could check on the website. The food and service is divine you will love it! There as lots of muse bouche extras too!
Caroline, Lovely review but your photo shows you at Berowra Waters Inn, not Cottage Point Inn. Which place did you visit?

Cottage Point Inn began its life as a boat house, general store and post office for the river community. Over the last two decades, the Inn has been transformed from a pleasant bistro in a stunning setting to its current fine dining form focused on showcasing the best Australian produce with Head Chef Guillaume Zika's French influence.
