This restaurant is one of the most delightful places in Sydney, hidden away on the lower reaches of the Hawkesbury. We had the degustation menu for lunch on a warm sunny day. In addition to the entertainment provided by the local kookaburras, the meal was truly outstanding. The amuse bouche of parsley sponge served on escargot shells was our first... More

A water taxi from the Quay to Rose Bay and a sea plane flight to the restaurant was the prefect way to begin a perfect day. The degustation with matching wines was the only way to go and removed the difficulty of having to make a choice. The Spanish Mackerel with endive and smoked parmesan was winner in the mains... This is a hidden hideaway within an hour from Sydney. A peaceful retreat to escape, relax and be treated to a very special experience. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in between national park, waterways and secluded getaway residences. The chef brings international experience and goes above and beyond to create a unique experience using bold combinations of fresh local... More

Arriving at Cottage Point by plane is a wonderful experience but not the only way to get there - having done both seaplane and car, don't let the price put you off going altogether. Every time we dine at Cottage Point it's like a trip to another world. Possibly our favourite restaurant in the world just purely because of the... More

Great location overlooking the water and fabulous food and service. Catered for our one vegetarian diner with ease and didn't make them feel out of place during the degustation menu we enjoyed. Take a boat there and add to the drama of the experience :)

What more could you ask for. This restaurant ticks all the boxes!. Discreet service that was prompt and extremely efficient. We had an extended lunch and why not. When your in this environment your a million miles away from care. Food is first class with well deserved hats . I may add that the mushrooms, as relayed to me by... More

Dined here at lunch today. The intense flavours and finely honed cooking technique shone. An amuse of perfectly ripe pear with creme fraiche and anise powder was clever and sublime and the kid perfectly cooked. This guy handles broad beans like Messi handles a soccer ball. An (overall) unforgettable experience. Some "tweaking" needed: 1. The quality of glassware needs improving... More

We arrived at 12.30pm and chose the degustation menu. By 1.30pm, we'd had the first dish and the same pace continued from there. We waited up to 40 minutes between dishes and honestly, if you are still eating lunch at 4.00pm, you're slightly over it by that point. The dishes were reasonable but I wouldn't say on-par with other 2... More

We had a lovely lunch for my dads birthday and we enjoyed the degustation. Catching the ferry was easy from palm beach and the restaurant arranged a water taxi for later. The service and knowledge of the staff was better than excellent and the food was delicious. Cant wait to go back and try their other dishes!
