We had a long weekend in Sydney so we decided to go out with old friends - 8 of us. We hired a boat which took us from Palm Beach to Cottage Point - that is a very nice "voyage". Other ways of getting to Cottage Point is by seaplane from Sydney, maybe next time. Saturday afternoon lounging around and... More

We had a nice lunch at Cottage Point Inn. Service is impeccable and food very tasty - try the ratattouille! A little disappointed with desserts. Would recommend the plan enough time and book a table on the terrasse.

A birthday lunch on a Monday was exquisite as usual. We were given welcome aspic with lemon/lime (or may even have been fingerlime) garnish accompanied by a glass of prosecco. My husband had an entree of julienned beetroot on endives in Parmesan and I had lovely baby artichokes in a pulled curd sauce. The we both had lovely fish dishes,... More

This remote little gem is nestled above the waterline against the steep hill of Cottage Point. Best way to arrive is by boat or seaplane but you can also park your car further up. The food is fresh and the service is very professional, this place take their mission of serving excellent food very seriously. They will happily provide wine... More

Saturday lunch with friends.Service was efficient and helpful. Food was lovely but a little too fine dining for my liking. Portions a little small. Not cheap by any means but a great experience.

Its a bit of a drive out to Cottage Point, well signposted and through the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park. We have at various times sampled the degustation menu and individual dishes. The menu is well described, the waiters knowledgeable, the pace perfect for enjoyment and the venue so special on the Hawkesbury River. The food is sensational. We were agreeably... More

We were four adults - one had a dietary requirement which was not extreme in any way. When we asked if they could modify a dish to suit they refused. She ended up with only one dish to eat, which was over cooked dried up Wagu beef which tasted awful. We all tried to reason with the waiter and talk... More

We have enjoyed lunch here on several occasions and it is always a very special treat. Allow plenty of time to relax and soak in the wonderful scenery and calming water frontage. The food is always amazing and interesting with something to suit most palates. A special place for a special, intimate occasion.

Our lunch at The Cottage Point Inn was part of a package from Sydney Seaplanes. The day was perfect, clear, sunny and calm a contrast to the previous days'rain and wind. This made the flight to the Cottage Point Inn a lovely experience as the harbour and the northern beaches were seen at their very best, even the rock platforms... More

This restaurant is one of the most delightful places in Sydney, hidden away on the lower reaches of the Hawkesbury. We had the degustation menu for lunch on a warm sunny day. In addition to the entertainment provided by the local kookaburras, the meal was truly outstanding. The amuse bouche of parsley sponge served on escargot shells was our first... More
