Nice interior, newspapers available, nice looking cakes. Ordered a regular take away cap that was the small size (as they have only 2 sizes i.e. small and large) Taste was good but unfortunately lukewarm.

If you want something a little edgy for breakfast, & not the usual eggs, bacon etc this is the place to try. Fried brown rice with egg, ocean trout with scrambled eggs & honeycomb, or creamed corn with poached egg & jalapeño are just some of the choices. Presentation was good. Prices reasonable. Friendly, helpful staff. Great coffee & juices.

Lunch was great, menu is short but very adaptable and deviation ok, crepes were superb and looked fantastic, position is so good at back of Bronte bay which is lovely, highly recomended.

Walk from Bondi. A late breakfast. Sitting in the sunshine. Looking at palm trees and Bronte Beach. Folks passing are great for people - watcher's. What I came for was Creamed corn and poached eggs with the little extras. Yum yum yum. Black coffee delicious...just right. Perfect weekday indulgence.

Good location, decent food but poor service. Staff seem like they would rather be somewhere else. Coffee is only average.

My wife and I were on the Bondi to Coogee walk and at around noon came to Bronte Beach, with its beachfront cafes. We looked over all the menus and came back to the Bogey-Hole. Shared a delicious haloumi and grilled veggies on pesto roll sandwich. Prompt, friendly service, terrific tastes. April 7, 2016

Like a lot of people we had walked from Bondi Beach and were in need of some food. My smoothie and banana bread when just what I wanted. Others had sandwiches and were satisfied. Not gourmet but wasn't suppose to be, and the view and people watching made for an good pit stop.

We brunched at the Bogie Hole in April 2016. The food was good and came out pretty promptly. 2 of our coffees were not delivered for over an hour, and we never got our smoothie. We were charged for the smoothie so not that impressed. Overall, it's a nice spot to sit and watch the crowds but not if you... More

Great place for brekkie or brunch- always busy at weekends so be prepared to wait or sit amongst plenty of other people. However food is fresh and excellent with a good menu. Service ok but again it's always busy so they do the right thing and focus on simplicity. Personally think it's the best cafe along the bronte beachfront.

Eat where the people are. That's always good advice. The strip of shops opposite Bronte Beach includes some excellent cafes with the Bogey Hole hard to go past. Quick friendly service, yummy food, nice coffee and fresh juice. Well worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood. The pressed metal ceiling also adds to the charm.
