This place appears to always be busy at all hours. Hubby is a vegetarian, so it was really cool to see an eggs benedict done with mushrooms, and man was it good! If all their other food is as good as this dish is, I...More

Fantastic service, food, ambience, and view! Love the eggs benny and the wedges. There are outdoor, indoor, and second floor seatings so there should be a table available. The iced chocolate was topped with ice cream and I thought that was really sweet. Definitely a...More

Stopped in for coffee, a bite and to write. The Creamy Chicken & Sweet Chilli Taquitas were not great, so they lost a few points there. I guess I should have read the label more carefully, as they were too spicy for me. The taquitas...More

Say no more - it’s quirky, slightly 1970’s trendy and always busy. What more could you want. Coffee is always great. Full flavor not bitter - perfect. All the food both sweet and savory is very very good. Wholesome and delicious.

I was attracted to this place due to there always being full tables, don't be turned off!! Great food, fast service, even better coffee and the food was just what you needed on a cool day. Give this place ago, I couldn't fault it.

Great location and the perfect place for lunch after ripping it up in the Sticky Forest. Convenient bike parking as well. Good, fast and friendly service - even though they were pretty busy (seems the norm). Good beer on tap. Food selection is amazing, well...More

We thought Kai Whakapai was extremely good. We all ordered different things and were each delighted by our choices; indeed my Eggs Benedict were magnificent. Add in fantastic views, nice coffee, great service and good value and its easy to see why this place is...More

I sopped in here hoping to find a good cup of coffee, something sweet for breakfast and wifi, 2 out of 3 isn't too bad early in the morning! Nice folks, good coffee and a nice fruit muffin! No wifi! All told, pretty good stop!

yes, there are a couple of options that can be made vegan if you make if we change a couple of ingredients and you can always make up a breakfast by adding together some side dishes :-)
