Order a cold beverage, and some wedges with Chili Sauce and Sour Cream. You really cannot go wrong stopping off here for a snack on the way through the crown range!

Loved this little place. Was so much like an English country pub. Just stopped here for a quick lunch and drink. Had some fried chicken, nachos and wedges. Delicious and the portions were huge. Will definitely be coming to stay at the hotel at some point.

Stopped in on our last night in the area for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was full, so we sat in the bar area, but menu was still extensive. Even had some good options for my fussy vegetarian daughter, so big thumbs up. Food was very tasty too.

This is the perfect place to stop on the way back to Queenstown after a day out in Wanaka, either for just a cool libation or to enjoy an evening meal. Or just call in for lunch after driving up the Crown Range on your way to Wanaka! Just call in anyway!!

We had lunch at the hotel two days in a row. The open fires are brilliant after a morning of snow activities. Very busy at lunch time but the food was well worth the wait. Mulled wine is a great way to warm up!

What a great place. I would never have thought of stopping here but we were taken by friends who have eaten here before. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children and got a fantastic table by a huge open fire. There is a great, welcoming atmosphere in this busy and obviously very popular pub/restaurant. There is an... The facade of the hotel is beguiling as the interior has a modern touch which elevates this from "another country pub" to a very polished dining experience. A good selection of beers on tap, but we were hugely impressed by the quality of the food. After a day skiing we felt like pub food, what we got was an elevated... More

On our final day of our holiday after a half day ski, we tried this much talked about place for lunch and we were blown off our feet with the service and quality of the food and beverages. This place was full of patrons and it is no wonder why. It is a must do visit if in the Wanaka... More

A must stop after every ski day with three kids in tow. We loved the mulled wine while kids adventured out back, climbed trees and roasted marshmallows. Hot chips always hit the spot. Staff are all super friendly and our restaurant dinner on the last night was tasty swift and good pub food with a rustic twist when served in... More
