Was looking forward to a nice grilled chicken salad to find the salad was very confused with raw long beans, soggy blue beans and a mango chutney thrown into it😭😭
Others had a burger .. in over toasted buns and fries which were re-fried😝
Best fish & chips I had in Fiji. Cooked perfect and so so tasty. Great fries too! The dessert: Lemon Grass Brûlée with Rum Soaked cherries with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream was something I could write poetry about. Yes, that good! Our...server, Kiti, was the very best. Such great service and excellent food we returned several times. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. P.S. their Frozen Mojitos are the best deal in town!! And delicious!!More
The food and service at Cardo's is second to none. Great atmosphere and staff are fantastic. A special mentioned to the following staff members: Maria, Marie, Vilimoni, Vasemaca, Losana, Aaron & Mereani. You all deserve a pay rise. The only down side is the seats...are uncomfortable. See you all again soon. VinakaMore
We drank and ate at Cardo’s two nights in a row because of the service and quality. The wait staff were very attentive, especially ‘Debbie’ who served us on both nights. She is an asset to this establishment! The 2 for 1 happy hour is...great! We ate a steak which was really good. Very good experience both nights.More
We visited this restaurant twice and the food was very good.
Their mocktails made from pure fruits were amazing especially their aple orange and pineapple. Our next favourite was the watermelon one.. They were so refreshing on a hot day. The waitress was so friendly...and helpful. Well done Carco's.More
Had breakfast and dinner here today. Both were excellent. Of special mention would have to be the lemon grass creme brûlée. It was divine. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. The staff are friendly too and prices moderate.

The Garden View Room in the older building are my preference as they are quite roomy and have outlooks to the ocean pool and the garden that runs between the buildings. If I was staying there again I would make it my preference o be in building 5 nearer to the reception area and maybe on the 2nd floor as there are no lifts and only stairs. We stayed in building 2 and these tended t be a bit noisy with guests. If staying in the Garden View Rooms in the new section ground floor building 7 is fairly quiet with a nice outlook. The newer buildings to me seem like they have built as many rooms s possible to fit onto the land.
The adult pool area is lovely and a nice break away from the main pool area. Port Denaru Marina has many cafes, pub and restaurants, tour booking agens this is similar to "Runaway Bay" on the Gold Coast to get around Denaru Island and visit the other resorts plus Port Denaru, taxi fare is $7fji, the Bula bus runs a continual loop $8fjd each hop off and on try their restaurants and go to the Raddisson next door to Wyndham walk there via the beach their cocktail hour are the best prices.
The local bus into Nadi is $1fjd and also does the loop around Denaru Island, Nadi has good shopping and duty free. We went to a fabulous Chinese restaurant Bo Hai prices amazing & food quality excellent. There are a few places to sight see I would hire a taxi it's cheaper than going on a tour bus.
