Great small town home style !!

Seafood home style loved it - hey don't expect a fancy setting ( not to many of those in joyuda anyway ) but if yo can overlook that the food was great !! I had oven broiled snapper and mofoso , my daughter had full 1.5lbs lobster -- we all loved it .. In the back you can sit outside... read more

We stopped at El Bohio for dinner, and got a table on the terrace on the water. The food was great with the waiter recommending the fresh fish of the day, and there were several options for fresh caught fish. Their sliced fish with garlic or tomato sauce was a hit. A fun bonus was that the staff throws excess... More

The whole snapper in garlic & onions and the lobster stew was great as was the fresh seafood appetizer. They did however propose a fresh seafood 'sampler' that was nothing more than fried fatty things & 3 of 12 were actually seafood - not impressed so we fed it to the Tarpon overboard... They were quite slow and this is... More

Based on these review, it seems like those guys at the bio bay tour better stop recommending this place to whiny midwestern tourists. There are a lot of complaints about burgers, aerepas, and tacos. NONE of which are PR foods. These folks should probably just stick to San Juan and save this gem for the Puerto Ricans and those who... More

All seating is outdoors and we expected a bay view. The water was far in the distance and a littered vacant lot was our primary view. Service was slow and our waitress seemed annoyed to serve us and we were the only customers. I experienced many insect bites and the flies were pesky. The salad was mediocre at best...iceberg lettuce,... More

I picked El Bohio with three things in mind- out door seating, the sunset, and fresh fish. I got all three and very good service. The fish was spectacular- the rest pretty good. A safe bet.

Great location on the water and very helpful staff - red snapper was fresh and huge. Simple but good quality would return if back in area

This is family owned and operated seafood restaurant that I've been visiting for the past three decades. It's a very simple and low key environment. Seafood is always fresh, they will bring the uncooked fishes to your table for you to choose yours (if you want them to). You can also bring your own fresh catch and they will cook... More

We are staying at Las Casitas, and ventured out in our rental car to El Bohio. What a pleasant surprise! Only about 7-10 minutes away. Don't let the fact that there is only outdoor seating with no A/C turn you away. It was quite pleasant with the slight breeze coming through. We went with our waitress' suggestion to go with... If you want, really want fresh sea food, this is your place!! This is not a fancy restaurant, not air conditioning, but a nice view @ Las Croabas. Friendly staff and good service. ask for the "fresh juice" of the day... Last visit was Tamarind, delicious!!
