A converted gas station, this place has been in business for over 10 years and is truly an amazing meal. We are staying at El Conquistador and this place was a welcome change from the standard Hilton fare, but in its own right was fantastic. I had the grilled fish special which had amazing flavor (grilled over mango wood) with... More

The drinks were good and the staff is friendly. I ordered the NY steak. It was cooked nicely but the meat was tough and lacked a little bit of flavor. My fiancé had the chicken and ribs. He liked them but they weren't amazing. The wings as an appetizer were good though!

So good! Wish we had come earlier in our stay at El Conquistador...what a relief from the bland, overpriced resort food. Everything was delicious, service and atmosphere were great....but the star by far was the mofongo, topped with shrimp and fish. A must try.

This was the best meal we ate while we were in Puerto Rico, hands down. Delicious, locally source, influenced by traditional Puerto Rican flavors but with a spin all of its own. Had we known how good it was we would have eaten there every night. Jay was our charming waiter, which is part of what made the experience so... More

When you drive by this place, you may not get a good idea of what it really is: a truly great, fine restaurant. You will smell the smoker from far away: trust your nose and go in! Food is very tasty and beautifully presented. Portions are big, so if you are a couple you might want to share an entree... More

Just do it. We stopped on our way back to our cute airbnb house from a long hike at El Yunque to reward ourselves, and were bowled over with the deliciousness. VERY excited about the food. Absolutely great mahi mahi ceviche with crusty, puffy mini beignets to start. I ordered the smoke of the day, which was an over-the-top very... More
