The Lord Kocken started in 1998 in 's-Hertogenbosch and since 2000 located in a beautiful old pawn in Vught. Our dream has always been that we wanted to open a restaurant where the guest feels comfortable, a relaxed atmosphere and where pure and (h) can honestly eat. In short, flexibility, a friendly atmosphere and hospitality are for us in the first place. That it was awarded a Michelin star in 2008 is of course our great pride. The Lord Kocken works with a small core team, with the extra hands in the kitchen of students and / or interns who want to learn the trade. Precisely because we are a small team work, everyone is attuned so we go together for a successful evening for each guest. We hope soon to welcome you in our restaurant. With warm regards, John Kocken and Kirsty Kocken-Lord Team DHK

We did not bother to look at the menu. Just asked for fish. It was amazing. The wines were perfectly chosen. Loved all the sweets with the coffee

Haute cuisine restaurant in Vught. This restaurant you go to when you want to eat really special. Very chique and high class. The price is also equivalent to what they serve.

If you are on a budget, turn around and walk away. If you want to experience some truly spectacular food tastes, make a reservation and come here. The kitchen is open and visible from many tables. The preparations are carried out in haste but with a efficient and professional manner. The foods are assembled and created to bring out unusual... More

This is a real gem hidden in the south middle of holland. Real great food in an out of the way town. Local creativity with local produce makes this restaurant without pretense one of the best with a michelin star. Great creativity in dishes and nice southern style service. this is one of those hidden gem places you can only... More

The problem with rating is that in eyes of somebody else it can be completely different. "De Heer Kocken" creates the expectations by having 1Michelin star, but it doen't really meat them. From such a high standard I expect excellent food en service and what I get is very good. For me it is not enough. You wil for sure... More

This restaurant has a Michelin star which is richly deserved! The chef is very creative and conjures up fabulous combinations! We started off with an amuse of coquilles with Indian dal, which was superb. It's not a big restaurant, which lends intimacy to the atmosphere. Good food, friendly service, good music, in short, good value for money and definitely worth... More

We come here quite often, since we live on walking distance from DHK, so we're very lucky. We don't even bother anymore to take the car to drive to Den Bosch. We find everything we need in De Heer Kocken: great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.
