Heard a lot about this place so we were excited but it underwhelmed on overall experience. The food was lovely but the service not so good - for the price you pay which is €€€ you would think that staff would be friendlier and helpful. Delicious for seafood lovers and a good variety on the menu. Dessert was poor and I would not recommend getting the dessert there.

This restaurant overlooking the port offers an excellent dining experience at prices accessible to all. But, as a Sardinian, I was really surprised by the queen of desserts: the Seadas prepared according to traditional criteria and accompanied with honey which enhanced all its flavour. We had lunch and dinner several times with friends too. Attentive, kind and smiling staff.

We booked a table in advance, upon arrival we attempted to approach and smile at staff as we were not acknowledged, we were seen by staff yet completely ignored. When we finally caught their attention we were told we would have to wait for a table despite having booked, which we did, for 20 minutes!! It seemed that local customers were receiving priority over non resident customers.
The food was ok, at a stretch. My partner chose the fish of the day which we were advised was 400g, once deboned and served we were both left wondering where the rest of the fish was. At a guess we would say we received 100-150g of what my partner described as bland, poorly cooked red snapper. I ordered the tagliolini with lobster what I received was mostly pasta and tomato with a decorative empty shell on top, it was ok, very bland, I’ve made better myself at home.
The staff over all seemed relatively friendly once we eventually had a table, however things got worse when the bill arrived. An item that we had not ordered had been added and the overall price was extortionate in comparison to the quality and amount of food received.
We read the previous bad reviews and decided to give the place the place the benefit of the doubt, I wish we hadn’t. My advice would be just don’t bother, it’s not worth it.

We came to this restaurant recommended by some people but it was a disappointment: the soute' of mussels and clams was full of tomato puree which covered the flavor of the fish, we tasted it as if according to the darna of croaker and they brought us a plate with inside a tiny piece of fish, two mussels, two clams and two cherry tomatoes, a portion really too small to be a second course (and charged as such, i.e. over 20 euros). The only good thing and the acceptable size is the tuna.

The L'Avventura restaurant was recommended to us by a Sardinian friend upon request to suggest a place to eat well. Great place.
- Location, strategic, in the center. perhaps we need to revisit the outdoor area with the hanging vases that give the outside room that sense of disorder and improvisation. All of this is compensated very well by the very elegant, well-finished and carefully chosen sets of dishes and glasses.

We started as 2 then added 14 others at 830 in the evening. They moved everything around to accommodate us. We celebrated our anniversary. Food was excellent, drinks and service was excellent. We ate the local oysters, octopus, cod for appetizers. Turbot in white wine and pork jowls. All were excellent. Dessert was bavarito (white chocolate with cake), delicious.

I went to this restaurant because it had positive reviews and also because it said gluten-free options.

Place right on the port of La Maddalena, good service and hospitality. Driven by the many positive reviews and also by the Recommendation of the staff of our hotel we went to dinner in this restaurant.
The location is very nice because it is on the harbor and also the staff has been kind but unfortunately the dishes did not live up to the fame it enjoys.

Attracted by the good reviews of the restaurant, we decided to have dinner here on our first evening at La Maddalena and returned afterwards. The place is very nice, located close to the port. The tables outside, despite being on the street, are well sheltered. The staff is kind and welcoming. The menu offers a vast and delicious choice of dishes. The Sardinian fregola was particularly appreciated, as was the fresh fish of the day, available in different preparations. As a starter we had the octopus and the tuna tartare: both very good. Mussel and clam soup equally good. Excellent baked fish with potatoes. The baby squid ink rice with raw tuna and I don't remember what else was exceptional. Price not too cheap but right for what you eat and drink
