Just outside TacTic, this place offers everything from candy and cakes to delicious big meals. A most welcome stop on the way to and from Coban.

I have been going to this Cafe since I was a child; it has grown quite a bit since the last time I was there! The food was nice, we had a steak with cheese on top and a horchata to drink. However, and its probably my fault for not paying attention to the menu, the steak had grilled tomatoes as one of the side dishes, I was expecting some fried black beans or something else, so I probably won't order that again.
The place has a lot of outdoor games and activities for children, you can also ride on horses.
The service was excellent although a little overwhelming, since we felt they asked every five minutes if we needed something else.
I didn't use the bathroom, so I cannot say if they have a changing table.

This is just a fun little spot with a good breakfast and a good cuppa coffee. It's a good value and appropriate for families and anyone just passing by, in or out of Coban. It's a good place to stretch your legs and let the kids run around outside in the little playground.
The food is mostly typical.

Nothing to rave about but kind of fun and interesting. You can have a typical breakfast for a reasonable price and it's super family-friendly and kind of interesting with all those antique knickknacks hanging everywhere and little kiddie play park outside. It's an easy stop.

Cafe La Granja, located in Tactic, comes as rather a culture shock/surprise with its outdoor play areas, chequered table clothes and unashamedly kitsch farm theme. It does, however, have a lovely deck area from which you can enjoy the view of the frisky ponies. Be warned: the pizza is huge and could easily serve four....rather than one! The desserts are a stupefying selection of cakes and meringues.... The entire experience is rather bizarre after the austerity of Ram Tzul but Cafe La Granja is obviously very popular with tourists and locals alike. Just make sure that you don't dawdle too much here even though it is very pleasant sitting under the market umbrellas - you don't want to restrict your time at Orquigonia in Coban......

Every time we go to Coban this is a must! We definitely have to stop on our way to enter a fairy tale world, my wife loves this place; the setting, the food, the house but her favorite are the playground with all those dolls around, the barn, the little river, do not miss the chance to try their cozy food and their enviroment which is unique. Just look for the giant scarecrow on the road just some kilometers after Tactic.

Very good. Good food and drink
The atmosphere is nice. A cabin before arriving at the main town in Coban. The menu is extensive and varied. The service is simple and to the point. We loved the restaurant for its location, cleanliness and quality of food.
