After the third day of our trip to Ilocos, we have come to enjoy the local dishes. It's quite healthy. This restaurant's specialty is the carrot cake so we tried it but as we are not sweet eaters, we enjoyed the tiny shrimp dish, the...kinilaw, and the pinakbet. This place also sells goodies you can bring home.More

I think the review in this place is overrated. the food is just normal, nothing special. Just a typical family owned restaurant that is satisfied with mediocrity. We ordered pinakbet, dinakdakan, carrot cake and bluberry cheescake. The pinakbet only had 1 piece of meat.. haha

The place is simply a house. But caters to delicious foods. Tried the bagnet, longanisa and mungoo with paria... The ipon is also nice yo try

Our experience mustn't be the norm. But when we went there for lunch, the aroma of the dishes of other guests permeated the room. You wouldn't like it if you are not into Ilocano food (probably because of the fish bagoong). Service is slow since...there is only one waiter working. I knew Ilocano foods since my childhood and the food served to us (inabraw, fried bangus) were quite good fro my taste. There is a pasalubong corner where you can buy local delicacies such as chichacorn and other nuts. Since we went there in a hurry, we're planning to visit again soon for their dessert and the other food on the menu.More

Their Balatong dish (monggo) is a perfect example of diversity of pur culture. Being from Manila, this simple dish fully satisfied my cravings. The Bagnet is extravagance simplified. Dinuguan (Dinardaraan) is bagnet in blood sauce, which gives a unique texture to an equally classic Pinoy...dish. Truly a gastronomic experience!More

Duped by the earlier reviews about this place. Had to wait a long time before we were entertained and they weren't even on full house yet. The menu is not updated so a lot of the items were unavailable. Worst, the waitresses do not know...whats available on the menu or not. Whats ridiculous is the staff spent more time chatting and laughing than their job. The food was horribly bland and were obviously frozen. Will certainly NOT come back.More

No parking. Had to stand aimlessly because none of the waitresses knew what they were doing when we asked for a table. They even look underaged. repeat for several times our extremely simple order. The food takes forever to be served. Far cry from how...it used to be eons ago when I would give five stars.More

This restaurant came up on Google after I searched for the most vegan friendly place in Laoag. I am so happy beacause when I read their profile on Trip Advisor, it was mentioned that they have vegan options (mind the "s"). Apparently, they don't have...any at all! So, I asked them if there is anything that can be modified. Only one dish can be veganized. They made me one plate of steamed local veggies. I guess, I am still lucky that I was able to eat something. With regards to their customer service, it was a bit poor. You have to literally wait for at least 30 minutes before they serve the food. And the staff are not that friendly at all. We ordered a cake because it was my sister's birthday, but they told us they would get back to us if it is available (They never did, and we never had a cake). The reason why I gave them one star is because I was so disappointed with their services. I would never go back to this place #neveragain. To Trip Advisor, please remove "vegan options" on their profile. Thank you!More

Not worth it! We waited almost an hour for the food to be served. No expectations set after we made a follow up twice. Food is not that amazing to wait that much. Carrot cake is their best seller as per the crew but I...can't find a reason why it is the best seller.. If you are in Laoag, pls find other place to make your tummy happy..More
