Having visited almost all the pubs in this area (Vale of Belvoir, Melton Mowbray, Grantham) this is certainty without peer. The service was of a quality not experienced elsewhere and the food, every course experienced by our large party, was truly lovely. Eat here and you should be pleased.

Nice pub who do very good food. Not the cheapest but value counts. Beer selections are good. Nice village area.

I had previously visited this place and enjoyed a reasonably good meal from the a la carte menu. So when looking for a suitable venue to entertain my son and his partner, we hoped that the Sunday Lunch menu would impress us. I tried to book a table online but the website wouldn't work on my iPhone, iPad or laptop.... More

We visited the restaurant mid-week and after a friendly welcome we were shown to our table. Unfortunately it was next to an unused door on the main road side, which was terribly cold and draughty. (The tables near to the fireplace were already occupied). It has to be said that the whole restaurant felt cold and in fairness to the... More

Stayed for one night on our way south on the A1. Although the room overlooked a busy road, the double glazing was very good so there was no road noise to disturb our sleep. The room decor was very impressive. Obviously a good interior designer chose the lovely drapes, wallpaper etc. The bathroom fixtures were very modern and clean. We... More

We visited the Gregory 3 months back as a couple and really enjoyed it so took some friends when they visited. The food was great, but the service was disappointing today. The first course took 45 mins and they forgot to give us the pudding menu for about twenty mins. Other than the speed of service it was very nice.... More

This is a large pub/restaurant, with a separate sitting room containing comfy leather sofas and chairs.. There's a fabulous through log fire which is regularly lit during the winter months. We recently had a Sunday roast which was well presented and very tasty. Their crème brulee is always my favourite sweet. We eat there a lot, as the staff are... More

My partner and I went to the Gregory last weekend. The food was out of this world. I would recommend the duck oh and the sticky toffee pudding.

I booked this for an overnight stay whilst attending a wedding. I wanted a more plush stay and liked the idea of the big bath in the bedroom and so opted for the more expensive room and thought I would indulge for the afternoon before I went out. Food was first though - although it was nice it was not... More

We were a party of fourteen celebrating a special birthday. From the moment I enquired I was met with very positive comments from deciding what menu I could put together for everyone, some were very fussy! I should not have been. Concerned as on the night The food was excellent, the comments I received from all party guests were "when... More
