We visited the Gregory 3 months back as a couple and really enjoyed it so took some friends when they visited. The food was great, but the service was disappointing today. The first course took 45 mins and they forgot to give us the pudding menu for about twenty mins. Other than the speed of service it was very nice.... More

This is a large pub/restaurant, with a separate sitting room containing comfy leather sofas and chairs.. There's a fabulous through log fire which is regularly lit during the winter months. We recently had a Sunday roast which was well presented and very tasty. Their crème brulee is always my favourite sweet. We eat there a lot, as the staff are... More

My partner and I went to the Gregory last weekend. The food was out of this world. I would recommend the duck oh and the sticky toffee pudding.

I booked this for an overnight stay whilst attending a wedding. I wanted a more plush stay and liked the idea of the big bath in the bedroom and so opted for the more expensive room and thought I would indulge for the afternoon before I went out. Food was first though - although it was nice it was not... More

We were a party of fourteen celebrating a special birthday. From the moment I enquired I was met with very positive comments from deciding what menu I could put together for everyone, some were very fussy! I should not have been. Concerned as on the night The food was excellent, the comments I received from all party guests were "when... More

It's a pleasant well decorated pub, tho they could do with a fire in the sitting area, not just near the bar. Service is good and friendly. However, the food is only average and a bit pricey. Very ordinary chips with an ordinary burger: no relishes made it dull. Gammon steak was good and the egg very fresh. Good choice... More

My husband and I come here almost every month and we've never had a bad experience. The staff are all friendly and know exactly what they're doing. I absolutely love the decor, and they've struck the perfect balance between dining areas and cosy pub seating areas. The food is always lovely, and the bar has a fantastic selection of beer... More

Very nice pub and country restaurant in small village. Didn't eat this time just a beer but the food is very good and quality exceptional. Good selection of beers

We were going to go to the chequers at Woolsthorpe but as the weather was so bad decided on the Gregory as it was closer and we'd heard it was a partner to the Chequers. We liked the look of the restaurant but the service was dire we ordered at 1.15 but didn't get our meal for an hour. I... More

The hotel has a good emplacement and a free parking. I must say that I've been there for business but could be also for pleasure. Rooms are renewed and perfectly clean. I also eat over there and they have a pretty variety. Only as a bad point, wifi connection is very slow and difficult to work. Regarding the staff, all... More
