I booked the table for this early in the week to go the following Sunday. I was advised that 1.30pm would be best as they had two large tables arriving at 12.30 and 1.00pm. On our arrival we ordered drinks at the bar and our table was ready and waiting in an alcoved window area within the bar. Normally I... More

We've been visiting the Gregory a few times a year, since we moved to the area in 2007. Always friendly service and good food. A great venue whether you are looking to hold business meeting or a family occasion.

+ Communication from the start was excellent; + Really accommodating staff and friendly; + Excellent food; + Lovely surroundings. - Limited large party menu but I understand why; - Restaurant can be very hot with limited ventilation.

Strangely, I have only just got around to writing this review, considering how often I have visited The Gregory. I've been here for a cheeky Pimms, wine o'clock, nibbles with a drink, tasty starters or a warming soup. There is always a friendly welcome and good service. The menu is inviting with a wide range of main courses, plus there... More

Last minute booking with the children on a hot summer's day. Beautiful setting, amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this restaurant /pub. Chef was very flexible about our children's menu choices, eg children's portion of adult menu. The food, the food was out of this world delicious. The flavours and textures were supreme. The steak melted in your mouth.... More

Impeccably decorated grey and silver themed rooms. Large TVs Orla Kiely soap, shampoos etc. Seriously good grub in pub - good value and recommend.

I was really pleasantly surprised staying here. I stayed overnight for work and my colleague and I wanted something different to the usual roadside motel. The rooms were amazing - decorated to a really high standard and a little quirky which is really nice. The only odd downside was that anytime you needed to use the loo you had to... More

Staff polite. Food VERY average. Not "al dente" veggies, which I love and appreciate - they were almost raw and had obviously been sitting for a while. Early service so I think they expected them to cook more whilst waiting. Cold plates and barely warm meat however the beef was tender and the pork good too with generous portions. The... More

Visited this pub three times for drinks and food whilst staying on holiday . We're able to take our dog who was also made very welcome . Good choice both on the food and drinks menu . Quick friendly service and nothing a problem . Dinner each evening was excellent and good value . Will return next time back in... More

We've been meeting here for the last couple of years, and it is the perfect location for our ladies that lunch. The food is beautiful and the service is great. We never feel rushed and are always made to feel welcome. The food is beautiful. My favourite would be the David Cox Sausages - absolute corkers.
