I have had a lot of Mexican food, in the states as well as Mexico and Oscar is ranks in the top 10%. I went there for brunch and had their pork Verde breakfast burrito which was huge. This also was fresh as was the...chips.More
Delicious dinner after a long day of hiking. The shrimp salad was fabulous--I even asked for the dressing recipe. The chips and guac were great, and the burrito was huge and so tasty! Prepare for a wait, but it's worth it!
If you want a good meal after a hike in Zion National Park , then stop at Oscar's cafe in Springdale, Utah. So many choices of burgers, sandwiches, salads and Mexican specialities. My husband had a garlic burger- their burgers are huge and delicious- it...comes with either sweet potato fries, regular fries or a combo of both. They offer two different types of vegetarian burgers if someone in your party wants that. I had a portobello avocado salad and it was great as well. They have both indoor and patio seating available. I love supporting small businesses and local restaurants, and this one was a great find!More
The inn where we stayed (see my related review of the fabulous Novel House Inn) provided us with breakfast vouchers for our choice of two places, one of which was Oscar’s. We ate at Oscar’s our first morning and never got around to trying the...other place. The coffee is amazing and served in big, funky stoneware mugs. We ate breakfast there 3x and dinner once during our stay. We arrived for breakfast when they opened at 7 so we never had to wait for a table. The food was terrific. Standard American breakfast food, eggs, bacon, fruit, toast. Portions were good. We usually couldn’t quite finish, but you won’t leave hungry. The service was friendly, prompt and impeccable. Grant our server was a very nice guy who gave us good tips about the parks (Zion/Bryce). It also appeared to be a favorite of the locals. We ate dinner there on our last night. We arrived at 7 and there was a 45 minute wait. Based on our breakfast experience we decided that it would be worth it and we were not disappointed! I had wild salmon and my husband had the pork chops. Good portions and the food was delicious. If this place was not 10 hours away, I would be eating there several times a week. Plus, many tables have a stunning view of the mountains.More
Delicious dinner at Oscars. Had to wait about 30 minutes and worth it.
The burrito is large and yummy. We had the chips and guacamole first. We could easily have shared the burrito but then we would not have had left overs the next day!...Yes it was that good. Enjoyed a glass of Sangria with my meal.More
We had spent 5 hours in Zion and were hot and thirsty. This place hit the spot. But don't go if you aren't hungry!! Burger was very good and a quesadilla would have fed a marine platoon but very tasty. Great service and the misters...were a plus int he heat.More
Awesome food and service. We are in Springdale for 3 nights to visit Zion. It’s day 2 and we’ve been to Oscars twice already. Portions are huge, food is great and service is spectacular. Both times we have had Dave as our server and he...is great!More

Yes. They serve alcohol. While the restaurant is located in Utah, Utah law does not preclude serving alcohol in restaurants catering to children. Otherwise, Olive Garden, Chilis, Red Lobster, Cheesecake Factory, and who knows how many others would not be able to serve alcohol.
