So we stopped for a bite to eat, it was 11:13am. Apparently they don't serve lunch until 11:15am. SHARPLY! NO EXCEPTIONS! At least, according to the surly young lady at the register. So we literally stared at each other for two minutes until she felt like ringing us up. There was no one else there but our four people, and... More

I have to say this was one of the worst hamburgers I have ever had - it was totally dry and tasteless. It did improve slightly toward the end when the ketchup and mayo started to penetrate the dry, sawdust like hamburger but that is all I can say good about the burger I had. The lettuce was limp and... More

Double cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, potato wedges - tasted ok, nothing great. Free soda refills. Service was great and fast even with the line. Limited seating when it's crowded.

This is a walk up and order place and when we went it was packed as it's the only place in the meadows. The food was standard fare and just ok. Next time, I would being my own and avoid the wait and the cost. However, great surroundings.

The context is that you don't have many choices (although I heard the restaurant at the Mobil Station is darn good). You're in a campground. So having a sit down dinner is fun in a throwback way. You are seated at 8-person tables at one of several dinner seatings. The protocol is to introduce yourself to your table mates and... More

Oh, okay, I should probably begin this review by saying that we had just come out from backpacking for 4 days and had only eaten freeze-dried meals the entire time. BUT I don't think that would have mattered - the food here was delicious! We both had hamburgers and shared the fries, with all prepared perfectly. The only hiccup was... More

Stopped in on way home after a day expiring Yosemite. Pleasant surprise, I could have eaten a dead horse but the burgers here were really good, freshly cooked and in a wholewheat bun. Had a side of wedges which appeared to have been home made. Awesome.

Breakfast and lunch served. Really nice salads and veggie chili! Friendly service. Limited seating and parking as it shares a building with the post office and the general store.

We stopped here while exploring Tuolumne meadows. I had the burger and my wife the Vegetarian Chill. Both excellent. In fact after Yosemite Half Dome village my wife said it was the best food she had had that week. Might be a low bar but praise nonetheless!
