A nice place to relax for a beer after a full day and share a simple dinner. We came in at 4:30 just as it opened. The waitress was busy taking care of many tables but very friendly and offered good suggestions. We split the pork sandwich which was pretty good size. We also split a green salad. The white... Our server, Jose, was very good. We both had the filet mignon with bleu cheese sauce. They were done to perfection and the flavor was excellent. It gets very crowded at dinner and we were lucky to get a back table in the corner away from the crowd. This added immensely to our enjoyment.

After a long day of hiking we came for dinner at the Mountain Room and were treated with a satisfying dinner meal and beautiful view of the falls. The menu had a variety of items that appealed to our group of five from kids to grandparents. Salmon and Rainbow trout and Salmon dinners were excellent. Suggest reservations made well ahead... By far the best food of all the places to eat in the valley. Friendly staff. Wait times are minimal.

Two years ago with almost exact same large party we had excellent meal and excellent experience. This last Saturday night our meal was a disaster. Although there were three large parties in at the same time, the restaurant was not full. Four meals were served cold, portions of other meals cold. The four cold lamb shanks looked beautiful but were... More

Not bad, but also not great. Beautiful view though, so I think that is what you are paying for. Our picky teenagers were able to find something on the menu they liked.

The service was lacking on both trips and 3 (attempts) tines dining in the lounge area (plus one in the actual restaurant that was decent). The 1st time I came with my mom and we stayed at the lodge and ate here twice, food wasn't fantastic but it was open late and we were able to have wine and chat.... More

We ate at the Mountain Room for three nights. Each night the room was only half full but we waited from 30-45 minutes due to shortage of waitstaff (we were told) But when we were seated the food was excellent. My favorite was the salmon, with preparation changing every night.

We knew our choices were limited in the park and we searched for an affordable option that would satisfy our appetites. We failed. The nacho chips, with 3 salsa choices, were stone cold and the tacos had the same BBQ meat as the sandwiches our kids ordered. The potato chips were crispy and decent. Honestly we left hungry and disappointed.... More
