My meatloaf had a different consistency than expected but it tasted very good and the rest of the experience including my table mates selections was excellent! Waiter was pleasant and prompt and food was quick and hot. Very pleased

We were going to eat at the Terrace Grill but they close at 7:00 and it was 7:30 so we ate at Mammoth Dining, they close at 10:00. I had French onion soup and Caesar salad, iced tea...all were very good, especially the soup. The interior is very inviting and a nice place to enjoy a good meal.

Several restaurant concession spaces at Yellowstone have that feel of some grand ballroom that has seen better days, made over several times so that the spaces don't have any particular stylistic focus... ... no matter, the food was pretty good, I ordered the pIstachio parmesan-crusted trout which was a good size filet. The beer was very nice too. Good service,... More

Mammoth Hot Springs Dinning Room involves a wait but the food is good and the children can wait outside gazing at the elk wondering around literally across the street.

We are staying at Mammoth Hot Springs for four nights and last night decided to try the Dining Room for dinner. First of all, the building itself was built around 1936 and has a historic and grand feel. The front windows look out on an area known as The Parade Ground, where the United States Cavalry once marched and drilled... More

Service was excellent. The prime rib was great. But allow lots of time for your meal in the evening. The morning buffet was quick. Short walk from cabins.

We had the trout for dinner and found it to be very tasty. Service was also fairly good. There are often lineups to be seated, but we didn't wait too long.

Really good food off of an interesting menu. A great historic atmosphere and wonderful service. I always love to ask where the workers are from. Students and others from all over the world. The trout tacos were different and very good.

Herd of Elk in grass at front, wild and not tame as I thought! Stopped for drinks and have very clean toilets, souvenir shop and rooms. The volcanic plug is just outside as is terraces of hot springs, great place to stop and wander.

This dining room has been updated with a 1930s Art Deco style. They do not take reservations but found it easy to get seated. I enjoyed my trout while looking out the huge tall windows at the elk family and Mammoth Hot Springs. Dress was causal. It is a bit pricey.
