We stayed at the primitive cabins at the Roosevelt lodge after journeying from the south side of the park. We were ready to have a drink! The porch at the Roosevelt lodge was just the place to rock in the rocking chairs and relax. Not many at the bar/restaurant at 4:30 but the crowds began to build. We were in... More

Arrived at 1:00pm and had to wait 1/2 hour for a table, tho there were empty tables. I can only guess they might be short on staffing. Once seated, service was fine. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive. Burgers were very average with way too much dry bun. Chips were tasteless. Husband liked the beans. Hey, it was food,... More

This was a fine place to stop on our drive between Lamar Valley and Mammoth Hot Springs. The rustic dining room is a cool spot on a hot day. The dining room was almost empty when we arrived. We were one of the first people to be seated for lunch, and it still took 10 minutes for the server to... More

We ate at the lodge and the food was just OK. I had the BBQ ribs that I think were baked in the oven for a long time and smothered with BBQ sauce. They did not taste like BBQ and were overpriced. The lodge however is a historic building and sits in the middle of the park. Parking is a... More

Our party was a family of four looking forward to a decent sit-down meal. The service was fine, but the food was poor. My wife and I both had the trout. It was barely seasoned and had zero flavor. Mine was also fully raw in the middle. Like really raw. The veggy enchiladas were a big soggy mess. The rack... More

The Roosevelt Lodge and Dining Lounge is a great stop if you are headed to Lamar Valley or in north east corner of Yellowstone. It is a rustic spot back off the road with a old west feel. You can rent horses here or take a wagon ride. There is also a nice store / souvenir shop next door to... More

Try this place for breakfast before a day's hiking and you won't be disappointed. Can highly recommend the skillet option and the huckleberry pancakes are to die for! Plenty of good coffee - really sets you up for the day!

Great food. Lovely dining room. Well organised. No reservations just go to desk get a beeper. Bar alongside to wait for table or sit on a rocking chair on the porch and take in the view. Loved the fire was going even in summer it does get cold here at night.

We were very happy with the whole deal. Place looked nice, rustic feel done with old charm. Nice rocking chairs outside. Food was very good. Typical western choices, large portions and tasty. Wyoming cheese steak with beans and bison burger was mighty fine.

I ate there 2 years ago and it was pretty good. Went there last week and the food was terrible. Most appeared to be pre-cooked then microwaved.
