My son, wife and I went here for Father’s Day. Lots of places I could have requested. But this place is GREAT. Pizza baked in a wood burning oven. Servers who speak Italian. Service and food perfect

Loved everything! Went for my hubby's birthday while visiting my brother and his family in VA. There was 6 of us. We had reservations and were originally seated in a very tight spot, but were moved to a better table when requested. The grilled calamari...was out of this world. The fried was good, too. Salads awesome. I got the butternut squash ravioli which was perfect. Everyone else loved their meals as well. Hubby got lasagna which was also good. Dessert, they brought out 6 chocolate cups with amaretto in the bottom and some cream on top. They were delicious. Service, food, atmosphere was really great. They also sell bottles of wine on the way out for $10. Wasn't disappointed with my choices. Loved it here. 6 adults with several apps, salads, drinks, food and dessert around $200.More
Thank you for the detailed review, we really appreciate it!
The portions are large. The homemade pasta is wonderful. The wine list is reasonable and extensive. There is also many beers on tap.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Brellie!
We had the best dinner…fettuccine was outstanding! Mussels and salad were great as well. The service was fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Thank you Dockwest!
Stopped in for lunch. Quick service. Not many people there. Had soup and salad. Good food. I was able to practice speaking Italian with Mauro. Highly recommend it.
First of all, I went to International School of Pizza (and actually graduated!) so I know a thing or to about pizzas even though I am non Italian. This is the first restaurant I ordered a Magherita. A bit too soft but otherwise lives to...its name. A pizza served to queen Margaret. I only finished 1 big slice because the delicious calamari did me in. lightly fried and tender, not at all boucy. dipped in a spicy mariana sauce. I found this place by accident, I told the host I entered the wrong place looking for ice cream. She said we only have gelato, and only 4 flavors: Chocolate, Pistaschio, strawberry and Vanilla. I ordered the strawberry and Vanilla. Amazing ice cream. Some will correct me "it's gelato" whatever, great dessert before the meal. Needless to say, we will return.More
One thing that you expect (at a halfway decent restaurant) is for the staff to know when one course should follow the previous. This establishment seemed to be looking to turn the tables instead of making the evening a nice dining experience. When the main...course came too early, we asked for it to be withheld. The second introduction of the main course (again a bit too early) was done, we had no choice to accept it. The next disappointment was how flavorless the Involtini was. For $22, you think that one would get something that tasted 'good.' Insult to injury: I adjusted the blind that was facing West. We wanted to see the beautiful sunset that was transpiring.....only to have a very rotund staff member chew me out for having touched their infrastructure. A remarkable exhibition of "The Customer Doesn't Matter." All the above is a clear indication that this establishment is "running on empty." To wit: 1) Poor course timing to make the evening rushed rather than enjoyable 2) Flavorless entrees 3) Remarkably rude staff lecturing paying customers about a window treatment Its almost like these people are looking for a way to close their restaurant. Obviously, we won't return.More
Thanks for writing; however, for the most part we do not agree with what you reported. Obviously, you had a bad experience, but some was brought on by yourself. When you walked in the restaurant, we noticed that you were very unhappy, disgruntled somewhat. While...More
This is an incredible Italian restaurant. In addition to the delicious pasta dishes, all the pizzas are incredible! The best thing about this restaurant is not the food itself (which again is great) but the waiter named Mr. Mauro. Because of him, we go to...this restaurant almost every Sunday since 2016.More
Hi hcmarque, thank you for the great review and your consistent support over the years. We truly appreciate it!

We went here based the the trip advisor reviews. I’m glad we did because we weren’t disappointed. We went for a late lunch and we’re nearly the only ones there. Had a quiet meal together on the wife’s birthday. The food was hot and delicious....We will return.More
We had dinner on Saturday night, probably at the busiest time of the week. The food and service were great, but we could barely carry on a conversation. The tables are close together, and the noise level was constantly high. Also, I had called for...reservations for our party of four and was told they only take reservations for parties of six or more. The person I spoke with said a party of four would have no problem being seated at six pm on Saturday night. Not so. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. PS the chocolate gelato was good, but if you've had gelato in Italy, you know most US places, including this restaurant, just can't seem to match it. The pizza with arugula and prosciutto was excellent.More
For all of you who are SO tired of chain restaurants that offer the same mediocrity in every city, this spot is a refreshing change. It isn’t great Italian food, but it is local — and that counts. The service is attentive and friendly, the...portions are generous, and the food is solid, if not memorable. The atmosphere is warm and lively. Make a reservation and ask for a table towards the back, or in the room to the right. Unfortunately, the front of the restaurant is plagued by serious drafts from the front door and unpleasant overhead LED lighting.More
Staff very accommodating to 20 Allow for pre order of meal groups for gatherings which works well Food and Wine is very good
We appreciate your great rating, we enjoyed serving folks. Please come back again soon....
Nice intimate neighborhood Italian trattoria. Pasta and pizza extremely popular, wife's butter fish cooked perfectly with a light cream sauce. Don't pass up their gelato made on the premises. Service was attentive and very engaging. Wine list extensive and reasonably priced.
Thanks for the 5 star review, the butter fish was a Special so it may not be available all the time. Wine list is even more reasonably priced on Tuesdays when we offer 25% off on bottles from the list. Come back soon!
Was looking for a casual place on a Sunday evening while staying in Tysons Corner. Found this place on trip advisor and decided to try. Glad we did. Tucked away in a strip center this is a cute traditional italian restaurant. Pasta was very good,...pizza as well.Sunday night live music at the bar! All told was an enjoyable evening.More
