Wow, Aditi Streetside rocks! This is a take on Indian Street Food. It’s fast, fairly cheap and delicious. We had some really nice food here. Potato Samosa served with tamarind and cilantro sauces is a great starter. Flaky crust, delish potatoes are completely yummable for...a buck and a quarter! So many lousy greasy yucky samosas out there so this was a welcomed treat. The chicken version at $2 is a steal. They’re chock full of chicken and not some ground up mess. Sorry! Ate them too quickly to get a photo. Try the chat (picture below) of puffed rice with onion, corn and sauces. Grab a spoon and dig in. You don’t see chat often so it’s an easy try. Kati rolls (see pics) of paratha were light, flaky made with paratha that were cooked just right - soft and blankety. The chicken version was sauced with a light yoghurty dressing and really good. Kati rolls at $5.75 are wonderful and not seen in any restaurants that I know of in the area. The veg version got high marks as well. Goat curry was gone so I had lamb curry instead along with some naan. Huge helping of rice besides a very meaty and spicy bowl of lamb. Really nice at $8.95. The naan look to be packaged so they weren’t anything special. Overall this is a hidden gem. We used to go to Turmeric it’s predecessor ages ago before they made the street side area smaller and expanded the market. After dinner check out the adjoining market for all kinds of Indian food items from various curry powders, legumes, fresh veggies to falooda mix (who knew falooda was available in a mix?), to frozen paratha, Naan, samosas and complète meals.More

but have very impressed by the quality. I like spicy food so it is not an issue for me but if spicy does not agree with you, be sure to order things "mild". Had a wide array, from curries, chicken tikka, samosas, to varieties of...naan. All was very good.More

An attractive indian restaurant hidden in an ugly Vienna Virginia strip mall. Tasty food and good service.

Indeed, the restaurant is trying to be fancy but have a long way too go. But if you want to taste real indian food, it's THE place. So yes it's spicy but that the way it should be, and yes service are not top notch...but they are trying. So go there and enjoy your food!More

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of several friends. it was a Wednesday night and we were the only people, no one even came in to pick up a takeaway. The staff were vaguely attentive. It is a modern and clean restaurant, but...I was a little put off when i went to the restrooms and had to walk past piles of boxes and coolers. be warned in our opinion, the food was very spicy, we have eaten a lot of curries and we were shocked that the Chicken Korma was too spicy to eat, this is something that has never happened before in any Indian we have been in. our children love this dish but were unable to eat it due to the level of spice. They did remake the dish milder when asked but it didn't make much difference, there was also a lot of sauce and not much chicken. The naan were delicious, just as they should be. My chicken balti was full of peppers and chunky tomatoes and was tasty but again very spicy, ( I was sweating) even the poppadums were seeded and very spicy. My husbands tandoori mixed grill was tasty as was the basmati rice although I could see no evidence of the saffron mentioned on the menu. We won't be going back and will go to Cafe Taj instead.More

My husband and I really enjoy Aditi Bistro. So far, we have only had take-out because we have two young kids, but it has lovely decor so I would like to eat in eventually too. The meat dishes cooked in the tandorri are delicious. My...favorite is the chicken tikka, but lamb chops are also quite good. These dishes come with a side of rice and delicious yellow lentils. In fact, we like the yellow lentils so much we sometimes order them as an entree as well. Even our one year old son likes them! We also like the various breads. Sometimes we get the bread basket in which you get 3 or 4 different kinds. Sometimes we get regular naan and one another type. All are delicious. I understand they have some other items like wraps as a part of the lunch buffet. Maybe we'll get to try them some day. They also have a little Indian grocery store next store. We've bought some spices there for cooking at home.More

This restaurant discriminates against vegetarians. Their lunch buffet is entirely geared towards meat eaters with two meat/non-veg dishes while the vegetarians are told that if they want a vegetarian protein they must buy it separately thereby paying twice for the same meal!! Despite bringing this...to the notice of the manager, this practice is still continued. In fact when I tried to speak to manager to request a dish of vegetarian protein (paneer) be prepared for our table instead of the chicken dishes on the buffet which none of us would have touched, he told me that I should just eat the veggies and carbs or pat twice for my meal!! I will never step into this establishment again and will make it a point to mention this to everyone I know.More

This is a well-done neighborhood restaurant that offers delicious food - even for take-out! Our go-to place when we're just too tired to cook ourselves, we love the curries - especially the chicken korma and the chicken makhani. And order the garlic naan - yum....Best to call ahead with your take-out order, but if you don't, buy a beer and settle in for the wait.More
