As soon as I entered, I wanted to leave. There was a strange smell. Then I saw some men and children dressed in strange attire with something like a skull cap and long hair running down their ears and a thread running outside their trousers....All clad in black. It looked like some kind of voodoo. This was before I even reached the counter through a space that resembled an old style run down diner. The everything bagel tasted weird even though they claimed it was NY style. Then I saw a sign that said kosher or something and I hadno clue what it was but it may explain the strange tasting bagel. Never again.More

The women in my family love bagels. My mom, my wife, sister-in-law -- they love bagels. I can't say I feel the same way. But even someone like myself, who is essentially indifferent about bagels, can appreciate the quality and excellent taste offered up at...Marx. (And, predictably, those in my family who love bagels are especially impressed with Marx.) I have been here several times over the past few years, and Marx has consistently delivered delicious bagels with generous spreads on top. I had seen that some people seemed unhappy with the restaurant since a change in ownership earlier this year. I can tell you that I didn't notice a difference. The bagels were as good as ever, the place looked the same as I had seen in prior visits, and I left feeling just as satisfied as before. We certainly plan on going back.More

Was driving home from a family vacay and had to stop here for my favorite Cincy bagels and cream cheese. Sadly found out the owner sold his business to a new owner recently. Seems to still taste the same and be as good as I...once remembered except the batch I got was a lot darker (more burnt) than in the past. Still a great bagel shop thoughMore

The best for bagels, toppings and atmosphere. We have visited many bagel shops and none have come close. Fun and friendly service. Access and parking are fine.

I had fun here on a day before Passover. The sign on the front door indicated that the owner was politically incorrect and he was right there, behind the counter offering his opinions. It was like live theater since the people in line knew him...and egged him on. I think people come here for the entertainment as well as for their bagels or meal. This establishment has sandwiches to go or eat in, and bakery/catering available. Recommend for anyone who likes this kind of thing.More

I have always headed over since 1997 for the best bagels in the Midwest. Very unique. Grab a bagel with cream cheese and a cup of good coffee and have a seat and take in the variety of people that visit. This place in in...a strip mall area in Blue Ash. True bagels, boilerplates and baked with a crunchy crisp outside with any flavor you want served with a generous amount of fluffy cream cheese. I have not tried but the tuna salad is supposed to be the best.....maybe the next trip. I asked if they ship and they do not....too bad....enjoy!More
