OK but geared toward American tastes

Food was OK, not Really authentic Thai. Did not have any pik nam pla sauce with real chili, just fish sauce with crushed red pepper. Basil chicken had carrots, green peppers, and onions with little basil - not what i would call the real thing. 8 out of tenn spiciness was bland

This was my first time at the Thai Cafe. It was great. I ordered the pad Thai noodles; it was your traditional preparation of the dish. I ordered a 5 on the 10 point spicy scale because I wanted a little kick without it being way too spicy to eat. I found that to be just right. If you have... More

Did come here with high hopes but left disappointed. The eatery is pretty dingy and decor looks a little threadbare. There's a bit of an odd sweetness fetish going on in Thai Cafe and the staple dishes I had were on the grotesquely, lips-puckered, wincingly uncomfortable side of sweet;, I think I should mention at this point that I have... Not very good either. Not authentic. Some food appeared to be pre-packaged. Service was fine and the place seemed clean. Staff was friendly. They serve liquor. Overall a mediocre experience. Won't be going back.

The front entrance to this restaurant has a step up. They directed us to their side entrance, which has a slope up to the door but then has a step down to enter the restaurant. News flash - big heavy electric wheelchairs can't go up OR down steps. They were unconcerned. We won't ever be going back, and you shouldn't... More

The food was so great! The service was also really good. The restaurant's in an interesting area, with plenty of little shops and coffee places to check out. Can't wait to visit again!

If you are in the Clifton/Ludlow Ave area and in the mood for Thai, shck this place out. The food is great. I had the 'Fried Pad Thai' and my wife enjoyed their 'standard' veggie w/pork and sauce. The beer selection lacked that day but was an overall great experience.
