Our group of 10 had a very pleasant experience! Portions are reasonably large for tapas, and all 12 or so dishes we had were executed well. The empanadas were delicious, and the chef’s special of potato and chicken croquettes was also excellent.

This is just the experience of one non-picky person traveling and looking for a good spot. Tapas is usually pretty good for that situation. Mita’s has high ratings and looked good from outside. Inside- eh. Three adjectives that come to mind- large, spacious, cold (in...More

We loved everything about the evening. We asked to move to feel more in the restaurant, this was easily accommodated. The server Rich explained the menu and we discussed the number of Tapas to order. We asked Rich to suggest the best order for these...More

Last night at a conference my wife and I needed to relax. This was a great place. Fine wine and lamb shank dish with wonderful flavors in the sauce.

The beet salad (Remolachas Y Calabazas Assad’s) is to die for is to die for. Complex. Delicious! The Mediterranean meets America. I also ordered the poached rock shrimp that was more simple, cold but a great side order. I was in for a light bite...More

We came in without reservations and the restaurant had mostly open tables. We were asked to wait at the bar. We waited for 20 minutes with no one else seated and still mostly open tables. It was ridiculous. We left and went down the block...More

We’ve heard a lot of good things about Anita’s but hadn’t tried it until last weekend when friends came in from out of state. We loved the atmosphere, service and great tapas.

My wife and I returned to Mita's, which I think ranks as one of the region's best restaurants. Why? The service is always great, the menu has some spectacular Spanish and Latin American dishes, and the wine list is very well done. We were again...More

I had another nice experience at Mita's. We started at the bar, which has a very nice range of cocktails, beers and other drinks. I tried the nonino nino , a Spanish take on an old fashioned, balancing rye whiskey with sherry for an interesting...More

We love tapas style food. We had high hopes for this restaurant and it lived up to them! Service was great! Cocktails were very good. Dinner was excellent! We had the bread board with olive oil and Romesco sauce and Batatas bravas. Also, the Terrine...More

Mita’s, the second restaurant from James Beard Nominated, Chef Jose Salazar is named after his Colombian grandmother, his “Mita.”. Mita’s eclectic, farm-inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America – with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates.
