Akash serves a variety of curries, all well done and tasty. The service is friendly, the overall atmosphere is pleasant. Very good choice of Nan.

Food was good, specifically gulab jamun, Nan was soft. Curries were just OK. And finally the rest room was very smelly and horrible with no paper towels.

I thought the reviews were a bit disappointing but went anyway. The reviewers were clearly not curry cognoscenti or they went on a bad night. I am British and I know my curries very well. The food was very good but not utterly mind blowing. I had no particular criticism and would certainly go again if I was in Cincinnati.... More

So I have never had Indian food before. The place was empty at 12:00 pm I asked what was recommended. They said the Chicken Makhani with a side of plain rice. Also had garlic and herb bread. Very, very not impressed. I had nothing but other foods with flavor to compare to. Yuck!! Not again for me.

Went with a party of four. Everyone got different dishes at various spice levels. All of the food was excellent and the portions were generous. Service was attentive. I will definitely be willing to try Indian food again.

My wife and I went to Akash India for our anniversary, before taking in a show at the nearby Aronoff Center. I had the extra spicy Lamb Dopiaza (onions twice), and my wife had the Shrimp Bhuna. My wife found the spice level 4 (of 6) a bit much for her, and the shrimp was a bit overdone. Otherwise, everything... More

I was staying in the Hampton Inn across the street on business. My business associate, who cooks Indian/Pakistani food herself accompanied me. For appetizers we got vegetable samosas, tawa rikki and aloo naan. The naan, we both agreed, was disappointing. Usually when you get it it is a fluffy naan filled with potato. This was very thin yet managed to... More

The four of us went there for lunch today. Their feature is a buffet with about 12-15 items plus a limited salad bar. White rice with several selections such as chicken curry. Also, they have nan bread on the buffet. The waitress was very attentive with keeping our drinks filled.

Not a lot to write. The food felt like it was being served off a ready to eat packet. The ambience was kind of stale and the service was was unforgettable. If you are looking for good Indian food, don't go here.

I dream of the food at this restaurant and their sister location in Clifton, Ambar. Great service, tremendous menu, and wildly good food. Work your way through the menu - you will not be disappointed and it will be difficult not to order the same things over and over again!
