Had been to the Brown Dog in its former location and found it to be very good in total though overpriced. Just went to the new location--for the first and last time--and was quite disappointed in many respects which I'll summarize. First let me qualify my comments by saying that a restaurant that feels it can charge the prices which... More

We are sorry that you were so unhappy with your Brown Dog experience. Our wines our priced at less then a normal restaurant mark-up and we have addressed proper pouring practices at the bar to be consistent with menu listing on glass pours. We did take care of your bill, since you were so unhappy with the overall experience of... More

Visited for dinner and both our dinners were too salty. Paella was tasting of the sea. The salty sea! Service just so-so. I had lunch there prior and it was good. New location very nice. Bigger issue was they would not take our Visa rewards card. I don't think they knew how. Left another bad taste in our mouths.

We are sorry to hear your food was over salted. We have been working with the kitchen on this issue and believe it to be fixed. Visa rewards cards presented a problem for businesses that allow tips to be entered onto the card. We will look into a remedy for this, but in all circumstances usually Visa does not allow... More

Went here after reading about it on TripAdvisor. A bit hard to find as it is in a new building in a large park and signage is temporary on the road. Food was very good. Our waiter was fairly clueless, however. He BS'd is was through the menu and even drinks. When he asked another waiter to give us the... More

Went in for a quick dinner with my son (14). Once I found the location (on the property of the old blue ash airport) it was an enjoyable experience. Nice wine list, excellent salmon and the fries were outstanding. Very nice place

Food was delicious but the move from strip mall to Summit Park, the site of the old Blue Ash Airport, made this visit worth it. A very bright modern interior with glass and stone. Since the restaurant had just moved, there appeared to be logistics issues but I am sure they have worked out the bugs by now. Staff was... More

Brown Dog had been out favorite restaurant for a number of years thanks to a creative and tasty menu. With their move to a larger and new space we're pleased to say that the menu and specials are even better. New favorites include the halibut, the salt beet salad and the paella. That last one is a welcome interpretation on... More

We ate the brown dog cafe and was disappointed with the quality of the food. My salmon was served with an odd sweet sauce on the side and the vegetables tasted frozen not fresh. My family had both types of paella and that the choice of meat used created a bland dish. I feel the price tag for mediocre food... More

Yes, the restaurant does have a hum to it with the open kitchen and park setting. We did go through a few weeks where we had issue with the paella, but it is not fixed. More

A little pricey, but food is phenomenal! service is great! nicer than I expected. Good variety of food and drinks, including gluten free and vegetarian options. I like the location at the park because after we filled our bellies we were able to go for a walk, and my son enjoyed the kids playground.

Now reopened facing the Blue Ash Summit park, this a first rate dining experience that should and I predict will soon be ranked much higher that #43. The modern décor is outstanding complementing the excellent nouveau cuisine with an appetizer aptly named "Ode to Trotter. Extensive selection of wines, beers, ales and cocktails. Value is also exceptional. Lamb chops and... More
