For over 47 years Laszlo's Iron Skillet is pleased to serve you as our guest. We offer only the finest quality of food, served in a warm and friendly manner. Authentic Hungarian recipes have been handed through generations of the Molnar Family, continuing a tradition of excellence. Specializing in Goulash, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Sauerbraten, Schnitzels, Hot Slaw and much more. House made desserts as well as our amazing strudels. We are focused on our European Heritage, so our menu has all the wonderful homemade dishes available, that you grew up on. Wonderful Goulash

My wife, a Slovak of Hungarian ethnicity, and I drove from West Virginia to eat here. We were not disappointed. For an appetizer we had a cheese and bread plate. We both relished the warm, paprika-dusted bread and my wife savored the cheese spread, but I was not taken with it. What we both enjoyed thoroughly was the goulash. I ordered sauerbraten with a ginger-snap sauce and spaetzle. I really liked the tender meat and the spaetzle. The sauce was good, but not what I was seeking. However, we both LOVED the goulash. As an American I was unaware of the debate over how goulash is prepared. In my wife's family is a legendary fight between my wife's first husband Istvan and her mother about goulash. According to my wife, Laszlo's served it in Istvan's (Budapest) style where it is more of a paste/gravy and less of a soup, the latter being her mother's (Ukrainian-Hungarian) method. I loved the thick sauce but was bowled over by the tender chunks of meat and the fabulous hidden spiciness within the pieces. I enjoyed my meal, but the goulash was the better choice. Our service was good, the waitress doubled as the bartender and she had her hands full. Regardless, we are of a mind that we will venture back next year and we will bring my wife's parents.

Thanks for traveling to visit our restaurant. Glad you were able to try some of the Eastern European favorites. Sounds like mom’s version of actual Guylas which is the soup. A definite must try for your next visit. Thanks, see you soon!!

Had a wonderful time at Laszio's for dinner the other night . Got there early before the dinner crowd as it filled up fast . Our server Melissa was very friendly and kept our drinks filled . We got Schnitzel with Whipped Potatoes & Spinach with Mushrooms all tasted good and you get huge portions . Our meal was $ 14.99 . They have a Huge Covered Beer Garden that is decorated with lights & looks like it would be fun to visit when the weather gets warmer .

Great German Food!

If you’re hungry for some good German food this is the place to come. My husband and I thought we’d try this restaurant for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised. They have a great variety of dishes, the food was excellent, their variety of bar drinks were very good as well. The staff was very knowledgeable when we had a few questions about items on their menu. Give them a try,

Worst Restaurant in Cincinnati Area

Went to celebrate a birthday dinner with a party of 5. Ordered goetta bites as an appetizer and they tasted like fried dog food treats. Table had water to drink all around. Water was so gross no one was able to drink. Asked for replacement but the waitress only brought one replacement Guess we were supposed to split it 5 ways. When dinner arrived things did not get better. The lady who brought the food was really rude to my wife and the birthday guest. Chicken Paprikash was so gross that I spit it out. It was not made properly or served as described on the menu. All the other dishes minus the pasta were so bad you could not eat more than a few bites. No management in site. No attempt to rectify or improve the situation. Save your money and eat at the Hoffbruhouse, McDonalds, White Castle, or just about anywhere else but here.

The Chef is fantastic. If the bartender had some help waiting on tables at the bar everyone would be happier. Too busy on the weekend to wait the tables and pour drinks for the bar and restaurant. Also better menu knowledge would hurt when it comes to the specials. Not a good first impression.

The servers should always know the specials and chef's features, although he does do many of the specials differently each time. Covid non-compliant

Specifically made reservations because they are a small business. We checked the website where they claimed to be covid compliant and had outdoor seating. When my husband arrived he was surprised to see a sign stating that their staff would not be wearing masks and if that upset you they had takeout. He walked in and cancelled our reservations, told them why and no one cared. If they feel they have the right to not wear masks we felt the right to take our business elsewhere.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and was so glad we did. The beef goulash with spatzle was savory with a top quality of tender beef that was so good, a friend who hadn’t eaten beef in a year, did. The Hungarian chicken paprika was topped with a piece of fall off the bone chicken and the latkes were flavored perfectly and fried deliciously crispy.

Again aand again this restaurant is awesome

I went back to this restaurant with a good friend. I hade the sirloin mash potatoes and sauerkraut. This was the best steak i ever had. No fact on it. I ate the whole thing. My plate was clean. Best sauerkraut i have ever tasted. <y friend had healthy salad with chicken and she said it was the best salad she ever had. ALL WAS FRESH. Our server was very good All in the restaurant were having good time.

excellent food with authentic flavors of Hungary and Germany. the strudel was awesome too. not cheap but worth every penny. friendly staff and nice, quiet surroundings made for an overall tasty, excellent experience!

Visited with some family as we went to this place they like a lot. The Shekely goulash was ok. Bread with dipping sauce was good. Wife had a pork chop dish that was quite bland.

Great food, but noticed as leaving a couple had bread. We asked why and the server said they asked for it. So there you have. You don't get unless asked for even though we had salads and soup, etc.
