It wasn't clean. The bathroom was disgusting. We had already ordered food and didn't leave. The staff had good customer service. We would not go here again.

Great foods!! My family loved that place. I ordered Western omelette with pancakes. Best pancakes ever I had. Will def go back there someday.
We started the day after Christmas 2022 with breakfast at the Original Pancake House on Montgomery Road. It was around 9 am, the first time ever that we were able to be seated without waiting. The restaurant was not crowded. My husband ordered the Dutch...Baby pancake. Shortly after taking the order, our server returned to say that the kitchen was out of the Dutch Baby and also out of crepes. I wonder what exactly they were out of? An egg shortage? Maybe it was flour, milk, butter, sugar, or vanilla? When our food was served, it was warm. No refill on the coffee. Disappointed with the meal about covers it.More
2. Service was good, food ok but not that special, place in serious need of remodeling: booth seats cushions warn out, chipped tables, stained ceilings, decor from the 90s. GO ELSEWHERE!
Found this on TripAdvisor and it was a treat. Good service and great food. No wait for anything and kept my coffee cup full.
Great food, friendly quick service, older decor but clean and maintained. We had pancakes that were great. I had eggs with Goetta also very good. My wife had the spinach salad which she said was delicious. They are open for breakfast and lunch only so...get there early.More
My wife and I went to the Reds game on Saturday and I wanted a tasty breakfast on Sunday. I love breakfast. The Original Pancake House located in Montgomery was fantastic. We loved it. Amy was our server and she was awesome. The food came...out just like we wanted it and it was ready quickly. Great spot for a good breakfast.More
Goetta is a mixture made out of meat, oats, onions and spices that is formed into sausages patties, fried, and eaten for breakfast. The dish is of German origin and the name comes from the German words Grötte or Grütze (depending on the region), which...translates to “groats.” THE Original Pancake House is awesome! If you would like to try a local Cincinnati favorite, stop and order the Goetta & Eggs! The service is always great!More
The food at the OPH is very good. Great even. Perhaps due to COVID their carry out service leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve gone there every week for 16 weeks and about 1/3 of the time the order was wrong. Forgot something or...gave the wrong food (e.g regular pancakes instead of gluten free pancakes) Also calling is a huge pain. A lot of times you don’t get through or they’ll place you on hold for 5-10 minutes and never pick up. But if you get through and get the right food it is worth the hassle. Which is why we keep coming. If the local breakfast place starts selling GF pancakes, bye bye OPH. GOOD LUCK!!More
We came during the re-open period. Masks are not required, but we had ours on. Everyone in the restaurant had theirs on and social distancing was observed. My husband had the eggs Benedict, fresh orange juice and coffee. I had the French Toast, ham, fresh...oj and coffee. Everything was deliciousMore
I have never had a bad meal there. I particularly like their omelets, french toast and scrambled eggs with cheese but I have has other choices as well. Additionally many of their items have pancakes with the order; double yum
My wife and I eat here as often as we are in the general neighborhood. The serve egg dishes and omelettes in addition to a wide variety of pancakes, but the pancakes are so good I wonder why someone would order anything else. Service is...also excellent. On this particular day there was a long wait to get in. Unfortunately the person at the register checking people out was also responsible for seating people. So many were checking out at the same time that it aggravated the wait time. However, the food here is worth the wait. The do offer call ahead seating for those times when the wait is long.More
When I walked in I felt I traveled back in time to the 1960s. The interior is old and dated. The person who greeted us at the front desk was dressed in a blue hoody and blue jeans...not a great first impression. The waiter was...fast and friendly and our food came out quickly. I had the crab cake benedict that came with 4 potato pancakes. The potato pancakes looked just like small regular pancakes and tasted as if they were made with instant potatoes...no potato texture at all. The crab cakes and muffin were straight from a box of frozen food and heated up for serving. The egg on top was actually cooked very nicely and the Bearnaise sauce, while also seeming to come straight out of a jar or a mix, was also fairly tasty.More

Went on a Sunday and it's extremely busy. Plenty of parking. Everyone was organized to get everyone seated in their proper turn. Food was outstanding. Dutch Baby with the freshly cut fruit was best ever. Great coffee and OJ !!! Service was tremendous and everyone...friendly. Will return next time in the area.More
Wife and I went for a quick bite to eat. Ordered bacon and eggs (scrambled.) Eggs came out over easy. Server seemed disinterested in helping us. Wife got pancakes and strawberries. For all we got the bill was $27. Seemed high for bacon eggs and...pancakes. Also the fabric on booth seat was torn. The ceiling tiles had some water damage on them. May go back again and give them a second chance.More
