Went here before the Eric Church show. It was my first time in Cincinnati and I'm glad I went here for dinner, My wife and I had the Fish and Chips and it was a great meal. Hope to go back again.

Was visiting Cincinnati for the first time and happened to wander into Nicholsons. Great place for food and of course the beer was excellent. Very nice atmosphere - will definitely go back if I'm ever in Cincinnati again.

I attended a matinee and evening performance of a show at the Aronoff on Saturday and in between shows, decided to go to Nicholson's across the road intending to have a couple of pints and something to eat. The place had an appealing atmosphere, friendly staff and a wide selection of draft beer that's reasonably priced. The food however was... More

Soup of the day was white bean chicken chili (5-stars!) and their Cesar Salad (5-stars!) Menu options were great and the atmosphere was beautiful. The only downfall was the service. Our server was everywhere but refilling our drinks, or making sure we didn't need anything.

Stopped here later in the evening for a couple of beers and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive offering on draft. This is a pretty standard pub type of feel but it's got an above average design and style that creates a little extra atmosphere. I didn't have anything to eat, so I can't comment on the food, but my... More

We often dine at Nicholson's, usually prior to a show at The Aranoff. The service is consistently fine, the fish and chips is always a great choice.

The best fish and chips I have had. I was lucky to land there on that one evening when they celebrate their Scottish-ness once a year. They had a live Scottish band and the place was packed to the hilt. The bar is the place to be, though one would be jostling for elbow space. The collection of scotch whisky... More

My Husband and I had lunch here before catching a show at the Aranoff. We didn't have any alcohol, so I can't speak to the quality on that end. However, our meals were fantastic! If you like eggs and sausage, you must try the Scottish Egg starter. This was my favorite part of the meal. Our waiter was excellent. We... More
