I was in town for business and was recommended this restaurant by the hotel staff. It was awesome! Had the fried Brussel sprouts appetizer and scallops for my entree. Everything was amazing! I would definitely come here again!

Fun pub with large, yummy Irish pub options - namely the fish & chips and the shepherd's pie. There is a small outdoor seating area in the back.

I went to Nicholson's for a work-related happy hour and was very disappointed in the service. The bartender on duty rudely corrected someone's pronunciation of a drink and got very impatient with me when I told her I wanted to pay for my drink then, rather than setting up a tab. Others in my group expressed the same frustration with... More

Great duck fat fries and lots of liquor options. Our waiter was nice and attentive. It makes you feel like you are in a real Scottish pub, great decor.

Great location as we walked here from our hotel in Covington after running the Flying Pig Half Marathon. Split an appetizer and each had an entree. All food was very good and above average for "pub-grub". They have a very good selection of draft and bottled beer. The scotch selections are second to none as I have not been to... More

We popped in here for a drink and didn't eat. It is a well appointed 'tavern' with a good selection of beers and an even better selection of whisky!!! The atmosphere was and they have sport on a number of TV's dotted around the bar. Staff were courteous and the service good. May try the food next time!

Our waitress, Taylor, was excellent and the food was delicious. My salmon was perfect. My husband had the shepherds pue and loved it. The smoked gouda cheese soup with roasted red peppers was so good😊. We were so happy to find this authentic Scottish restaurant with kilted servers on my first trip to Cincinnati.

I was so excited to have dinner at a fine Scottish Pub complete with kilt clad waitstaff and the menu I looked at before my visit whet my appetite. I hate to say that when I walked through the door I was hit with a funky smell. Reminded me of a dirty dishrag smell so I was disappointed as soon... More

Located in downtown Cincinnati across from the Aronoff Center, Nicholson’s is a restaurant and bar serving fine food and drink in a genuine Scottish tavern setting. Taking inspiration from the public houses found throughout Great Britain, our goal is to provide our guests with authentic hospitality and a brilliant dining experience. In addition to high-quality food, we offer a wide variety of beer, wine, bourbon, craft cocktails and feature one of the best selections of single malt scotch whiskies in the area.
