Whenever I go to Cincinnati I always go here for barbeque. It is the real deal. I always get the St. Louis style ribs. The baby back ribs are good also but I prefer the St. Louis style because I think it has more flavor but they are not as tender. To each his own.

I got takeout from Jim Dandy's as we stopped for the night on the way back from Indiana. Boy was it great! We're from North Carolina and we know NC BBQ is great, so we always like to try other styles. We were NOT disappointed with Jim Dandy's. My wife Coco had the Beef Brisket Sandwich, and I had pulled... More

Stopped there on our way back from TN and were blown away by the flavor and tenderness of the meat. It was truly the best bbq meat I've ever had. I had the half rack of baby back ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. Everything was delicious and didn't even need sauce. I did try the mild sauce with the... More

Food delish, restaurant comfy, prices reasonable, service fast and friendly. What else could you want in a dining experience? How about their bread pudding? It's the perfect dessert!

We stopped here before going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra show. Food was incredible, I had the ribs and my wife had the chicken. Some of the best BBQ we have had. If you are in the area this is a must place to eat

I visited here with my business people, and we all enjoyed old fashioned BBQ. The building itself is kept as old and the tastes was also good, not too strong, but still has its character. I am only concerned about the cleanness of the restaurant. The dust was all over the place.

The food was very good. They had a variety of sauces so I was able to tailor the sandwich to my taste. The sides were delicious as well.

Just getting out of my car and being hit with the aroma of the smokers makes me hungry for a BBQ! Offering a casual atmosphere and a friendly environment, Jim Dandy's is a place where families, friends and even solo diners enjoy. The food is delicious and priced reasonably. Certainly, this is a spot where locals return over and over!
