I have passed this restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try for an early dinner. It was practically empty last Sunday so we got seated immediately. The interior is really nice and homey, but also with a bar type feel if that makes sense. We decided to split a cup of the Jambalaya and it was... More

I drive by Allyn's everyday but had previously only visited it for a happy hour drink. A friend suggested we met there for lunch and it was delicious! The menu options were much larger than I expected and had items such as shrimp po boy, hush puppies and alligator ! I will definitely be back.

My husband and I visited Allyn's on 9/3/2016. We were staying at a hotel downtown where we were surrounded by restaurants, but decided on making the short, scenic drive to Allyn's so I could have more vegan options than just fries and salads. Our server, Lauryn was friendly and efficient. And the food? My husband had Mardi Gras pasta with... More

Stumbled upon Allyn's and again what a great find! New spins on cajun cuisine. We take all our out of town guests here and they love it. Good value.

I used to frequent Allyn's in the late 90's-early 2000s. It was a great restaurant and small music venue. It was a lunch staple for me. Sadly, my 2 visits in the last month have left me quite disappointed. On both occasions, service was mediocre, but the delay in getting food to the table was astounding. The menu has been... More

Great Cajun food and an impressive beer selection, Allyn's has been on our dinner list for several years. Seems like it would be a great place to have a beer on a nice night after a Red's game (if you're into that kind of torture.)

I have been here several times. They are a bar with an eclectic menu. They have cajun favorites like Gumbo, Jumbalaya, Etoufee, but also burgers and chicken or steak philly sandwiches and mahi mahi (fish). Food is good for a bar-like environment. Parking is a challenge (street or small lot).

Definitely not the best TEX MEX I have ever eaten. But, it is FAR FROM THE WORST I have had. Service and atmosphere was very good.
