I was introduced to this place about 5 years ago and have made it a regular stop when I have dinner with my dad. We both LOVE fried chicken and this is the best. We also call ahead and get Chicken for big family get togethers. Everything on their menu is delicious and reasonably priced. The homemade pies are fantastic... More

This "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant has friendly, quick service with the best breakfasts! Served hot and tasty, their omelets are full of fresh ingredients. And their chicken is just the best!

Great traditional breakfast, super service provided by Nicole, always exceptional. Try the powdered cakes with your's, excellent with coffee.

Delicious food, at a a reasonable price. Even the deserts are amazing!!! They run out of the strawberry pie early in the day, but that one is for sure the best. I will definitely go back for dinner next time!

You will not be disappointed with the chicken, burgers or sides. Even the basic crinkle fries are better than most places. Very fair prices.

The Hitching Post has the best fried chicken in Cincinnati, whether you order a two piece, or three piece or have a fried chicken salad.

It's a great place to eat whether you dine in or carry it home. It's a Customer friendly place, too. I can never decide between the fried chicken (yummy) or the liver and onions (delicious). Both are great and reasonable.

Our food was really good. Home cooked without the mess. Was looking for something less expensive. Success!

Crispy outside, cooked perfectly inside, good coating all around, not greasy; superior to their cousins in Germanic and Eastern European countries. I have not been to a Heaven, but if you ask me, indulging in "American" fried chicken would approximate what one might be in a Heaven.

Burger was huge but not that great, we do a burger blog and it did not make the top 10 or even top 20, Chicken has a huge rep and highly rated by many, not on this trip, all our pieces had black burned spots on them and flavor was average, I won't be going back, better chicken and burgers... More
