My husband and I are staying at a Clifton B&B. Our host recommended Biagio's, so we happily ate there last night. It reminded us both of eating in Rome, Italy. The focus of the restaurant is on tasty homemade authentic Italian food promptly cooked to...order. We loved our food (I am dairy free, and they happily customized my meal). Tonight, we intended to return, but were tempted by the fancy ambiance and rooftop seating at a neighboring grill. The experience at the neighboring venue was subpar, so afterward, we returned to Biagio's for a real meal...which was superb, delightful, and very satisfying!! Don't be fooled by appearances. Head straight to Biagio's for a meal from Italy and you won't be disappointed.More

Biagios is a small hidden gem in Clifton. It’s an Italian restaurant with a family feel to it. We have been there numerous times. It is one of the top places I recommend when people are visiting Cincinnati. Biagio (owner) cooks the food in an...open layout so you can watch him cook. The service is great and the food is fantastic! The daily special changes but is always the best whether it includes sea bass, steak, etc. I highly recommend it! It is a smaller restaurant so I would look at 8 or less people as a group. Recently, I had the petite filets special! So good!More

An enjoyable environment to walk into. However our experience was tainted by 3 things: 1) A chef yelling obscenities at the wait staff, loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear, leaving the staff running around like beaten children; 2) my chicken alfredo was sub...par - sauce was dried out and bland, chicken tasted like it was canned; 3) we selected 4 different desserts for our table, and all were no more than so-so.More

We visited Biagio’s Bistro because a friend highly recommended it. We were not disappointed! The ambiance is relaxing & inviting. Robert, our waiter, was personable and very helpful answering our questions about the menu. We ordered Bruschetta as our appetizer… the best I ever had!...We both ordered Caesar salads. Also wonderful!! The vegetable pasta dish was phenomenal!! All fresh vegetables with penne pasta. The aroma was incredible!!! All of our dishes were hand-delivered by the chef, Biagio. Absolutely delicious!! Super service, excellent, freshly prepared food! We will definitely return!!More

The food was excellent. So why three stars? We must have caught them on a bad day. We were not welcomed, just told to sit wherever we liked. We commented that we felt that he resented us being there. No one had the type of...personality that one expects from restaurant employees. No one seemed happy to be there. We did enjoy our meal, but not the bad vibes from the employees.More

If you want your food cooked by the owner of the restaurant every time you eat then Biago's is your spot. I haven't met anyone that works as hard as Biago. He lives and breathes his restaurant. He treats his staff like family and will...talk to you like a friend. The pasta is made in house daily and every meal is cooked fresh to order right in front of you. We love the tomato basil soup and sea food pasta. Make sure to get some of those chocolate puffs for dessert. Those are my favorite. Tell him @angieknowsthetruth said HI! <3More

Biagio's is a fabulous restaurant, from the outstanding food (cooked in the open where you can watch), pristine service, and excellent prices. They have a special of 2 petite fillets of beef with a side of pasta that is well worth the money. It's a...homey place; Biagio himself is a lot of fun (not to mention a genius with garlic and olive oil). We're lucky to have such an unassuming, lovely restaurant in Clifton.More

Seafood Alfredo and Pesto Chicken are two of our favorites. We were seated where we could see Biagio handle 5 skillets as he personally prepared the entrees. The canoli were a great birthday treat 🎂 to take home.

I was fortunate to visit as part of a group outing on Sat, 1/25. Our group was 20 ppl. That meant that I was able to sample a number of dishes. Ya gotta try the tomato basil soup. Any pasta you try will be hand...crafted and OUTSTANDING. I am partial to the fettuccine alfredo. This was my first visit and I am hurrying to returnMore

We came for dinner before going to Clifton Performance Theatre. You could pass by the outside if you didn’t know it was here. The interior is nice and simple. Loved rewarding the history of the restaurant. My husband got the salad with shrimp on it....The shrimp was prepared perfectly - not too much oil. Our son got a Caesar salad - he liked a lot and a tuna sandwich. I was shocked about the sandwich since he loves Italian food. I got the tilapia dinner that comes with a salad. The house salad was great and I got the dressing on the side. Their garlic dressing is made in house - you can tell. They should sell it! It’s great!! The tilapia is pan seared - cooked very well with vegetables and then home-made fettuccini. The dinner made 3 meals. The pasta was great. But, too much oil!!! That’s why the 4/5More
