Down in an area that is surrounded by sports stadiums, thank goodness for this place. The view was amazing. High enough to see Kentucky, a river, 4 bridges, and the sun happened to be out. We were a family of 7. ages 15 months to...More

Moerlein Lager House is situated in the Banks area of downtown. It's hip and cool but as many times as I've been there, at least 1/2 dozen, I find it is extremely loud and the food is average. The views are beautiful and it is...More

We've been to the Lager House numerous times now, and have always had a fantastic experience. The menu is full of interesting food options (even for a pickier eater like me), and the service is wonderful. The beer is also exceptional - with a wide...More

Nice, friendly place overlooking the Cincinnati river walk, for a good glass of beer, sandwiches, and salads. Fish tacos were very good, and my wife liked the salad; accompanied by a beer, sitting on their balcony in the July sun - most enjoyable.

There are SO many microbrew restaurants popping up it's getting hard to get excited about them any more. This one is definitely above average with a wide beer selection, very good food and a comfortable "sports bar" type setting on the river. It's a great...More

There is a parking garage under/adjacent to. Make sure you park in section A as that will take you right up next to the lager house.

As long as you can get the private room and it's an appropriate size for your group, yes absolutely. The main restaurant can get noisy.

The heritage of Cincinnati's storied brewing history comes alive along the banks of the Ohio River at this world-class restaurant and brewery. Prominently situated in the dynamic Smale Riverfront Park, the Moerlein Lager House offers a guest experience unlike any other—a working microbrewery producing a full line of Moerlein craft brews, and delectable fare featuring grain spent breads, hand-carved sandwiches, and smoked rotisserie meats… foods reminiscent of those served in the city’s celebrated 19th century beer gardens.
