Very, very nice- only reason for a 4 star versus 5 star rating was we had to wait between courses a little longer than desired.

The Dinner train was very enjoyable. The food was EXCELLENT and served hot. the wait staff was precise and they were very entertaining. The owner of the train was on hand to give us all s brief history of the sites we saw on the...trip. You'll need to make reservations way out in advance as we I made ours three months in advance of our trip but it was well worth the wait.More

Plan and make reservations early they book up fast. This is a real adventure on the train. Step back in time for a 3 hour trip of fine dining and spirits.

We have done the dinner train several times, but our favorite is Labor Day fireworks. You have a great meal on the train as it takes you to riverfront area of Cincinnati. You get off and walk a block to a park and watch the...fireworks, then board the train back. No traffic, no crowds, just a great time.More

My husband and I did this trip in October and wanted to come back and bring my friend. Very disappointing to expect the same experience and did not get it. The workers were awesome but the co-owner was more about advertising over and over while...talking about the history of the train. Prime Rib was dry and over cooked even ordering it med-rare. There were 4 place positions to be won for the dress up and come to find out the girls that sing on the train were the judges and placed other prior winners that were regular riders. Delay to get back and not once to offer a drink, water or anything while sitting.More

The food was great and the train was nice and clean. There is not much to look at out the windows.... just a bunch of graffiti on the walls and over grown trees. But we were seated with a great couple and had great conversation....Also our server Ms. Lukki was AWESOME. We plan to go back and we hope we get her again.More

Really fun relaxing time on the Cincinnati Dinner Train’s Labor Day Fireworks Special event. It was our first time on the train. We left at 6:00 and enjoy appetizers, drinks and dinner on our way Down to the tracks near the Boathouse resturant on the...river. Our restored vintage dInning car was clean comfortable and air conditioned. The prime rib served was very good, and dessert topped it off nicely. On the way down we got a little history lesson from a short narrative shared at key points on our trip down. We disembarked, watched the fireworks, jumped back on the train and headed back to the north. No stress, no traffic, just good fun with friends and a nice evening. Loved it!More

My daughters gave this train trip to their dad for Father’s Day. What a great idea for the “hard to buy for “ dad. Food was excellent. Co-owner gave us commentary throughout the trip. Downside was that the chairs are super hard. Rest was great!

All I can say is- AMAZING! I won 2 tickets to the dinner train at my school’s silent auction and decided to purchase a couple more tickets to take my parents for a combined Mother’s/Father’s Day Gift. What an unexpected treasure! Restored authentic cars, well-timed...and short information/history/story sessions, entertainment from the Queen City Sisters acapello group, awesome food, friendly staff, and more! Can’t wait to rebook with a group of our friends - thoroughly enjoyed this special evening!More

I booked our tickets as a Christmas gift for my husband and decided to go on his birthday. You do have to plan ahead and book a couple of months out, but it's worth it for a different night out. You can tell that Brian,...who owns the train cars, is passionate about the experience. Most parties of 2 will be seated with another couple, but you can request a table of 2 if any are still available. You feel as if you are in another era, and if you are lucky enough to have the Queen City Sisters singing, it completes the experience. Dinner was good, and you order your entree choice when you book your tickets. The train takes you thru parts of the city you don't normally see, and while some of the scenery is less than spectacular, it's still a very cool experience. We would love to do it again!More
