The pandemic had caused them to close for 18 months, maybe even longer! Visiting from NYC, my Cincy office always loved coming here for breakfast. The menu options are great and I'm happy to see them back open for business again!
My wife and I came to Cincinnati for a Concert. We decided to come to maple wood kitchen because it was right down the street from our hotel. We were so glad we did. The restaurant was very chic, the food was amazing (recommend the...chicken hash), and the staff was incredible. The manager kindly bought our cappuccinos for us when she found out it was our anniversary. She worked so hard and was jumping in bussing tables, taking orders, and answering questions. With a business that hires managerial leadership like that, this is a place that we will be coming back to- and recommending to all of our friends.More
They have a great menu with great options for salads and fresh squeezed juices. Cafeteria style ordering - but a restaurant feel and they bring the food to your table. There is a mix of food so it can keep everyone happy. It's a great...place to meet friends, have lunch - or have a special little girl / mommy daughter dinner before the ballet. I'd recommend checking this downtown spot out.More
So bummed. Drove here based on reviews and signs saying it’s open for breakfast. CLOSED UP! Downtown is boarded up more than it says. Some Marxist :-( graffiti but great to see people caring for the city and trying to clean up. Police visible, very...good to see them around. Looks like a fun city, so sad to see it down. That doesn’t help care for people. Everyone has been great though.More
The interior design of this restaurant is very pretty and the atmosphere is very relaxing and cool. I got the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and they were very light and not super heavy. Would recommend going for the food and atmosphere.
Came here for early breakfast and loved everything bout this place. Walkin place order food delivered to table. Nice ambiance tall ceiling. Staff inviting. Now for the brass tax: the food is EXCELLENT. The quinoa cakes topped with egg and spicy sauce is the best...breakfast meal I have had in awhile. Even the specialty coffee was excellent. The coffee, tea and water bar concept is added touch bc don’t have to wait to be served refills. Breakfast/Lunch date place fa sure.More
The decorations/atmosphere are really cool, but it wasn’t the type of service that we were expecting for how nice the restaurant looks. You order at a register, then they bring your food to you. All regular drinks are self-serve. The chips and guacamole are really...delicious, but definitely not worth the $12 for the portion size (Plenty if chips just not enough guacamole!) I got the avocado BLT and it was not very good. I could only eat half of it because the overly smokey bacon and semi zesty mayo sauce over powered the flavor of everything else. The burger and fries were good, but not anything spectacular.More
I ordered the avo benedict... I didn’t expect the eggs to be hard boiled poached eggs? And the benefict to be on a piece of toast instead of English muffins? I also ordered a Bloody Mary and they garnished it with a piece of salami...without asking me if I’m vegetarian or not? I asked for a side of the pancakes thinking i would get one and instead I got what felt like a full serving - and they were dry. I don’t know... there is promise but the delivery is off.More
