The owners are third generation restauranteurs and it shows. It all began with Grandma’s restaurant in Chicago 35 years ago where handcrafting breakfast and lunches became a family tradition. Parents settled in Sequim, WA and own the Oak Table cafe. While I’ve never been I’ll...be willing to bet big bucks it’s amazing. The three kids now each own a restaurant so the tradition continues. But I’ve digressed. Let’s get back to why you MUST visit this restaurant!! The menu is vast and offers something for everyone. The ingredients are FRESH and everything is locally sourced. Sauces and mixes are handmade and it shows. The sourdough pancakes are simply amazing and melt in your mouth. The maple syrup is warm and is pure …nothing artificial. Omelettes are done in the French style (channel your inner Julia Child) and looked amazing. Eggs are basted in clarified butter, not fried. How many breakfast joints even know what clarified butter is?? We split the Homestead Benedict which had whole wheat English muffin, country sausage, poached egg and the most incredible mushroom bechemal sauce that has ever passed my lips!!! The sausage had a nice peppery spice that lingered just the right amount of time on your palate. We practically licked the plate clean and then came close to eating all of the sourdough pancakes that were some of the best I’ve ever had. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Perfect base for a day full of wine tasting! Enjoy Oh….the waitstaff is amazing. There was a full team of gals who hustled to take care of everyone. You may have to wait when it is busy but a) the food is worth waiting for and b) there are no slackers on the team so they will get to you as quickly as they can!!More

This was my first visit to the Maple Counter Cafe, but it won't be my last. Indoor and outdoor seating in this very popular place. Huge menu selections of large servings that are very well made-- tasty! Everything was fresh and hot. Service was prompt.

My husband and I generally don't eat at "classic breakfast places, like this." However, we had skipped dinner the night before because we got into town super late and we woke up early for a walk. Towards the end of our walk, we walked past...the Maple Counter. The name sounded familiar as I had heard it was amazing. Cute patio so we sat down. The food was delicious! Very accommodating for customizing orders, hashbrowns were delicious. Daisy our waitress was a doll. Portions were ginormous, you could easily share and have enough even for big eaters.More

The menu offers everything from the classics to unique spins on egg casseroles and other dishes. We had the french baked mexican charizo omlette (the avocado crema is KILLER) and the classic gourmet scramble. Both came with potatoe or pancake as side options. Pancakes are...wonderful. EXCELLENT service!More

Had breakfast there. Did an omelet. OMG the best I have every had. WOW. My wife had pancakes and they were excellent as well. Not your normal pancakes. I highly recommend this place.

There are two very good places in town for breakfast. This is the better of the two. The Eggs Benedict here is far superior in flavor and portion size. Also, the menu selection offers a greater variety.

Incredible customer service. The greeting was done well. we were kept up-to-date on when our table would be ready, once seated we were offered water and additional drinks within moments. The menu is very extensive with lots of choices! Food was delivered in a timely...manor and tasted great! Once we were done, we asked for to-go cups for our coffee. With out blinking an eye, we had two cups filled and capped ready to take with us to keep enjoying the excellent coffee (decaf by the way).More

Excellent breakfast and coffee. Pancakes and French Toast are both fantastic. My husband gets the hash and loves it. He usually can’t finish the whole thing. Service is excellent and consistent even when they are so busy with lines out the door.

I had breakfast at this restaurant. It was very tasty. I came early so I didn’t wait too long for service and food. I found staff very friendly. I had typical American breakfast. Again, I liked my food a lot. However, portions are in my...opinion too big. Yes, I said they are really big. See picture that I am attaching with the comment.More

What to order! There are so many amazing items on the menu, you really struggle with what to order. Thankfully, I was with my sisters and we agreed to all share a bit of something and we ordered the Apple Pancake to share as a...dessert. We also enjoyed the egg benedict - California, Baja scramble, and biscuits and gravy. Staff is friendly and very helpful with giving you feedback about the menu. They also to appear to really enjoy working at this restaurant. Lines can be long. Arrive early. Or, just be patient. This is a busy place on the weekends, but certainly worth the wait to enjoy the experience.More

We always eat here when we are in WW and LOVE their food and their family. This time was seriously lacking. We chalked it up to new staff and/or cooks. Tough time to be in the restaurant biz. We will return, but we were surprised...at how lackluster the food was this time.....More

The food was awesome! Especially the baked omelette and pancakes. Although efficient, the service was rather sterile and indifferent. I realize staff can be overwhelmed at times but this was not a particularly busy day. Great reputation with food to match, just keep an eye...on the way you engage customers.More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to the Maple Counter Cafe for a weekday breakfast, arriving around 8:30am. There was not a wait and we sat at an outdoor table, enjoying a beautiful morning. The cafe has a huge menu with a...large variety of pancakes and egg dishes. If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast full of vegetables, this is not the spot to go. If you’re looking for a huge American breakfast, you’ll definitely find something on the menu. The short stack of pancakes (we got the simple version: butter and maple syrup) was delicious—the pancakes were fluffy, warm, and flavorful. An eggs Benedict with avocado and tomato was also excellent, with perfectly cooked eggs and a side of very delicious breakfast potatoes with great texture. Service was competent and friendly. And the coffee was good! Solid option for breakfast in Walla Walla.More

Sensational omelettes, AND they actually serve crisp bacon. No reservations - and if you don't time it right you'll wait 1/2 hour or more.

Be prepared to wait. Been here twice in a single week. Once on a Wednesday morning 9:30am, and then Sunday 11:00am. Wednesday ticket time was 20 minutes and we’re now pushing 30 minutes. But, you’ll have plenty of company from the flies while dining inside....I would give them a four rating if it hadn’t been for the disgusting and annoying flies because I understand people don’t want jobs right now and everyone is short staffed.More
