Heibeck's stand is a throwback food stop. There is no indoor dining at all. A great place for an afternoon ice cream binge. Food items emphasize what you expect - burgers, hot dogs, fried foods...The stand advertises many items as having been selected to be...among the best in the county or even the state. We tried a lobster roll (one of those items said to be among the best) and a special banh mi sandwich. Both were delicious, though a bit on the small side. The unevenness comes from the setting and service. Outdoors are available, but not always easy to find. Parking is mostly in a gravel lot. And, most importantly, service is slow. A sign indicates all food items require a 30-40 minute wait (our wait was 25-30 minutes). When you order they take your cell number and text you when your food is ready, which they hand over through a back door. You can pre-order on-line, which helps because the line to order in person moves way too slowly. Net is that if you pre-order, or if you come by when the line is short, the food is worthwhile. But if the place is crowded keep driving.More

Shared fried clams and french fries with my wife - they were excellent. Their cold brew coffee was OK, tasted a little bit charred(?). The strong suit here is their ice cream. Tried four flavors all were excellent just the right fat content and temperature....Will definitely return.More

Great place for lunch! We stopped in here for lunch and it was great. I had the vegan burger which was wonderful and then a vegan ice cream for dessert that was great. Will go back.

Embarrassed to say we have lived a mere 3 miles from Heibeck's Stand for years but never went because I thought it was only ice cream. We ended up there for a quick alfresco dinner the other night and was pleasantly surprised! Fish tacos, beet...tacos, lobster rolls, burgers, hot dogs, sweet potato fries, salads. And the patio out back, where you can BYOB, is a great escape. Definitely a casual, outdoorsy meal but when the weather is just right, this place is especially great.More

Great home made ice cream with fun tasty flavors. Just cant beat it! And interesting reading about the history on the walls. Super friendly high school kids eager to serve and smile. Food also good but stick to the basics. Tacos were really exceptional excellent...but a bit small. Should have had the cheese steakMore

Really fresh innovative food with a great cozy seating area in the back. The best homemade peach ice cream!! The owner Bobbi Heibeck came over to talk to us and asked how we liked the food. She was a lovely and warm lady! She and...her son own this restaurant that has been in the family since 1931. It is a must for casual summer dining!!More

Delicious hot lobster roll and fair price. The roll was $18 and came with a small side of cold slaw. Overall the menu looked delicious and had pretty cheap prices. BYOB patio hidden behind the stand which looked like a nice area for a group...of friends. Plenty of parking in the lot next to the stand/hair salon.More

I needed a break from the traffic on Rt. 7 and saw the large Ice Cream Cone; whipped into a shallow lot near the front of the bldg. Learned more parking available on the other side that is next to a Sunoco gas station. Think...this eatery may be a local favorite as hotdogs, burgers, soups and ice cream were available. I bought a cup of "local peach" ice cream. Was told business would close Oct. 25th so perhaps this is seasonal. Patio seating visible from the front of the bldg. that also ran between bldgs. Sign informs Heibeck's since 1931.More

The outdoor seating is nice and kept clean. The service was a little slow, but worth it. Everyone was friendly. They have a good menu with some fun and different options for food and ice cream. The pricing is average.

Simple stand with a long history going back decades. Make excellent ice cream on the premise and custom flavors like chocolate with coffee. Some even have unusual mixtures like a touch of alcohol in them. Very good quality ice cream.

Love this food stand! Amazing food, excellent service! Lobster rolls and tacos are highlights for main courses. For side, love the onion rings and fried green beans. All sauces and dips are homemade. Ice cream and shakes are fantastic!
