We ate here twice while we were in town. It was difficult to choose what to have from the menu because it all sounds so nice - and it is! Every meal was the perfect size, well cooked, tasty, fresh... We couldn't fault it.

We at at Monsour's on a whim, and we were not sorry. The seafood was fresh, and the fried catfish was not heavily breaded; we enjoyed our evening immensely.

Decent food with a good staff. The view was out of this world. Seems like a local joint that focuses on the locals which was great.

Just came in to have drinks in mid afternoon. No food ordered. Service was average. Price of drinks seemed a little high. Placed didn't have many people. Atmosphere was just so so. Nothing outstanding.

Went about two pm. One other table with four people were the only other customers. Server was friendly, but it took a long time to get my food. A very unremarkable hamburger and really dismal fries. And very overpriced for quality of food. I would not go here again.

I agree with other reviews- the service is shocking. Waited over 1 hour for food with no explanation from waitress. This is the worse service I have ever received in the USA including Macy's in New York which is atrocious too. An apology goes a long way. No comps, nothing. When the bill came We were just told the amount!... More

Food was delicious but I witnessed a server refuse to serve coffee in the main dining area to two sweet ladies visiting from London. Said server complained to me later that they didn't want them taking up the table for hours just drinking coffee (your tip just went down). Monsours... teach your servers some manners. I flagged the ladies down... More

We arrived early evening, just as the sun was setting over the river and it was a lovely setting. I had the unusually titled John Wayne which is fish topped with pecan nuts and grilled. Service was OK. If you arrive early, you might be able to park outside!

My husband tried the filet tips and baked potato which he devoured. I tried the Shrimp Alfredo which was absolutely horrible!!! The sauce was as thick as gravy and the noodles/spaghetti were soggy. The biscuit basket was great at $4 for a basket of four. There is no air conditioner and the place was very warm which seemed to appease... More

We went to eat lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was not busy. We waited 45 minutes to be served cold "hot" sandwiches with one missing the side dish. Our drinks were melted and not refilled. I went and complained to the manager. He blamed the waiter! They did not care and we are never going back.
