So far this is my favorite Thai restaurant on the island. I eat here often. Good food, mostly good service and reasonable prices. Currently not serving alcohol, but bring your own if you'd like.

Ordered take out Penang curry and green curry. They were both excellent with lots of nice flavors and ample coconut milk sauce, which I like very much. Had a simple but clever way of securing the plastic take-out tubs - bit of plastic wrap over the top of the regular container to make sure they stayed closed on the way... More

We have been visiting Oahu, as it used to be my wife's home, and have been going to all the little out-of-the-mainstream eating places that she loved. One of those is Phuket Thai. Tonight, she had the Panang scallops and I had the crispy friend Thai chicken both with the sticky rice. It was tasty, just a bit spicy (the... More

Went to dinner with friends who live in Honolulu, and they insisted we eat here and were very glad we did. We had a variety of pupus which were all good: green papaya salad, spring rolls, calamari, stuffed chicken wings and fried tofu....everything was excellent. For dinner we had pad Thai, green and yellow curry. Everything we ate was amazing... More

I have tried several high end places in the area. This is by far the best!! We have tried the Massaman Curry, Peanut Curry, two fish dishes to include the sweet and sour fish and Tom Kha Gai Soup. The crispy eggplant is fantastic. All dishes have a spice level and for those that want mild Thai, this is the... More

I'm a bit of a Thai food snob. That said, the food here is pretty good. Too much coconut milk in the green curry for my tastes, but the peanut sauce curry is delicious and the ginger fish is very good. The restaurant also has white rice, brown rice, or sticky rice if you'd like rice with dinner. It's currently... More

Excellent Thai food. Every dish was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Noisy for a while, but that group left.

The night we went for dinner, they were not serving alcohol and had a sign up saying "BYOB". It would have been nice to have a beer with my dinner, but it wasn't a deal killer. Service was good and friendly, and the food was good. My Tom Kha soup was very good, but the portion was small for a... More

Many years ago I went to Phuket Thai shortly after it opened. The meal was disappointing, and I never went back until last night. I remembered the McCully Phuket Thai as being quite good, but last night at Kamakee was as disappointing as the previous time. Whether you eat pork or not, it is a common ingredient in Thai cooking,... More
