My friend and I had to wait for almost an hour before we were finally seated. It was a weekend, so it couldn't be helped. Customers were a balanced mix of locals and tourists. Food portions were very generous, and I felt very warm and happy while tucking into my meal. Free top-ups for coffee was also very nice. I... More

We were looking for a great local breakfast restaurant and found the perfect spot! Th selection was amazing! The waiter was fantastic! The service was fast! The omelettes were perfection! What more could you want?? All 5 of us were very impressed with our breakfast including the presentation! We highly recommend this place!

I have been eating breakfast at this place every time I visited Honolulu in the last three years. At first I was swept up by the high ratings, the awards, the encomium coming from all directions. The place takes no reservations and there were times when I got stuck waiting in line for an hour or more. This makes the... More

Good food that's worth the wait. Had two types of eggs benedict. One with fried rice and the other with spinach and salmon. Both were fresh and tasty except the salmon was a bit to salty and fishy tasting.

Came here with several friends after a working meeting and easily understood why they come here often. This is a favorite of locals, and the mix of dishes can suit the vegetarian to the omnivore. Our waitress was friendly and professional. Though the cafe was almost full, we were served in a reasonable amount of time. There is an outdoor... More

So...I went there twice on my trip and would have just made it a daily ritual if I could have. The place must be on some Japanese list of breakfast highlights, because the tourists were swarming the place, yet I got in both days in quick order. The first day I tried the Pastrami Eggs Benedict and it was to... More

Jan 3 I learned from Kalai, the best and friendliest servers ever, that dinner service is no more, ending Sunday. I loved the fried chicken and mac/cheese. I was hoping that some of the evening favorites could be added to the morning and noon menu, but since they require extra time to prepare, they might only be added as a... More

This place gets really busy so there is a wait, make sure to sign your name in. However, there is ample parking. The service is friendly and they are efficient (ex. Payment is processed at your table). I had the special which was kalua pork eggs benedict with a side of fried rice and the pancakes. Both were onolicious and... More

I didn't believe all the Japanese tourists hype and it didn't look like much from outside...BUT...when I was offered Corned-beef hash Benedict I couldn't say no. It was so good I want to go back already. Their coffee was also tasty, not your standard Maxwell House/Folgers. I would recommend going early (opening time) or late morning cause it will be... More
