My husband and I always try to go where the locals eat, seeking out good quality food. Kaila is a small restaurant that may have a short waiting time but very much worth It. Porno food like French toast and eggs Benedict with Hawaiian pull pork was delicious. Everything fresh, moderately price.

One of my favorites for breakfast. Very crowded all the time so it is important to come a little earlier or a little later. Lots of Japanese tourists as the word is definitely out.

My last day on Oahu traffic delays caused a last minute "where can I get breakfast" on the way to the airport moment. I did a quick search on TripAdvisor and this cafe came up. So glad it did! There was a wait, but it moved quickly. The food was AMAZING, and the service equally good. Pancakes were awesome, as... More

Although this place does not scream extravagant, it is a quaint spot for breakfast which is served all day long. Seems very popular among locals and the food was absolutely delicious. Better than anything I had on Waikiki Beach at the many hotels. I would definitely recommend this!

Cafe Kaila is in the Market City Shopping Center, away from Waikiki. Despite the distance, tourists find the place. It's a small, highly rated breakfast/brunch place, so there's almost always a wait. It's worth the wait. Food is excellent. On weekends, lots of off the menu specials. I recommend the meatloaf loco moco. Service is friendly and attentive. Food is... More

This is one of the reviews that almost hurts to write. Cafe Kaila is phenomenal. The problem is: I'm a local and there's already lines to get a table here. If I write how great it is, then the lines might get longer. So, yes, I hate to write this... but they deserve the good review because they really do... More

This Cafe serves breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Always a waiting list, but it moves quite fast. The food is delicious and the presentation is very nice. I was surprised there were also tourist eating there. It's not a fancy restaurant and it's more of a local go-to-place. With technology...I'm sure it's known and popular on the internet.

Went on a Sunday late morning worrying there may be a long wait. But to my surprise the wait was not as long as I anticipated. Probably about 20mins or so. Make sure you write your name down on the waitlist as soon as you get there! The food portions were huge! And everything tasted great! Couldn't decide between a... More

Little off the beaten track of the main drag but oh so worth the trek out. Food amazing. Staff amazing. Prices more than reasonable. Go for brunch as the meals are the usual large plates.

We (the Mrs and I) have been 3 different times, and I have to say the quality is always great. We waited about 30 minutes, which really is not bad when your reward is the breakfast potatoes. We all loved the food. I had the Italian omelet which is the perfect serving size and all the flavors i enjoy. My... More
