Having been to Nobu in NY, Milan and Waikiki. The food never disappoints, oysters, crispy rock shrimp, sushi rolls. The only difference this time was the ambience...seemed quite quiet and empty for a Friday night...heard they might be closing. Enjoyed Roy's more.

I recently went to Nobu for dinner. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I started with a mixed green salad. Unfortunately, there wasn't much flavor, and I was sorry I wasted my money. For my entree, I had a lobster and shrimp dish in a spicy lemon sauce with a side of rice. The dish was tasty. The lobster... More

My husband went to Nubu in LA before and he really like it so we decide to came at Nobu Waikiki restaurant when we had vacation in Hawaii. The restaurant is prefect location and we walked only 5 mins from the Hotel (Sheraton Waikiki) However, some of the food was overpriced and didn't even taste that good. My favorite dishes... More

So after a short bus ride from our hotel, and a quick walk from the main street, we roll in to Nobu Waikiki for our stylish dinner. The interior is classy, warm and welcoming. The wait staff are friendly, hospitable and knowledgable about the menu. We ordered a fair bit of dishes- kingfish jalapeño, soft-shell crab and shrimp sushi, and... More

Service was outstanding and very attentive. Fish tacos, sushi rolls, rock shrimp tempura and miso black cod were all amazing. Will definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

Special occasion restaurant, my partner was not drinking but still came to US$300 excluding tip. Went for degustation - 3 options, $100/$150/$200 - there were I think six dishes based on the $100 degustation. The sashimi was delicious and all courses were very delicate and enjoyable although I can't help thinking there's so many Japanese restaurants in Waikiki there would... More

Nobu is an obvious high end favourite for Japanese fusion quality dining. But many people don't realise you can usually secure a great seat in the bar area and enjoy sensational drinks by top mixologists and food from gorgeous servers! The food is top quality, as light or substantial as you choose. Great place to meet with friends and plan... More

My partner and I loved the food so much we ate here twice! Highly recommend the black cod and yellow tail sashimi. Massive shout out to Stephanie who was really helpful, friendly and knew exactly what she was talking about when making recommendations regarding the menu. She went further to surprise my partner when mentioning it was his birthday that... More

Just sat there waiting for the dishes to get better and wow us.. Nothing spectacular, all completely forgettable, not worth the time or money. Table of 6, $800 bill. Ended up down the road at the food trucks.

First time we came were not impressed with much of anything! This time sat a sushi bar and had no complaints, who could with all the great fresh fish, done so many ways from tuna tartare to uni to hand rolls. Great selection of sake too!
