Our second visit to Nico's was as good as our first which was a few years ago on our last visit to Honolulu. The restaurant is located at Pier 38 and they serve the freshest fish available anywhere. Our server (John) was perhaps the most attentive and helpful we have seen. Strongly recommend the Ahi Ribs for an appetizer. You... More

Had dinner with our friends here, it came highly recommended and it lived up to it. We got seated right away, the service was fast and friendly. Our order was taken and the food arrived fast. The place was packed but it sounded to me like this place it's packed everyday no matter what time you go in. The prices... More

My husband and I are foodies, and were looking forward to dining at Nico's after seeing it featured on Food Network. It did not disappoint! We went to Nico's twice on our vacation, once for lunch and again for breakfast. Great food!

I have gone to Nico's on virtually every trip I've made to Honolulu in the last 10 years. I have yet to find a plate lunch that is better than theirs. My go-to favorite is the furikake-encrusted ahi tuna. The fish can't be any fresher: they purchase it daily from the fish auctions. On my most recent trip, I also... More

Do not miss this local treasure! Go once during the week and again during a weekend, the menu changes and is worth trying! Too much excellence not to go many times to sample. Often live music,we grooved to some stellar Santana songs and watched the boats come and go. Bring dessert home since you won't have room to eat it there... More

While visiting Honolulu our local guide took us here for lunch. I had the place in my mind from having looked at places worth going to so we were happy to try it. It was very nice. Clearly not just a tourist spot - it's a bit out of the way. The staff were good, the menu was very good... More

We stopped by for lunch after a day in Honolulu. The fish and chips were excellent, the salads were ok, the fish burger tasted like spices, not like fish, didn't care for it at all. Overall, an ok place to stop for a decent lunch.

The freshness is optimum being right on the Pier, but the preparation is key and you'll find at Nico's Pier 38 they know all the right ingredients to create a wonderful variety of poke. (Of course you can add in your own condiments and get a choice of white or brown rice) The staff is super friendly and quick, and... More

Co-worker found this restaurant and we stopped here for dinner. Took a bit to find because it is off the beaten path, but that is what makes this a good place to go. It looked more like locals then tourists. Service was good. The food was very good and reflected all of the great seafood in the area. I would... More
