My wife and I had decided to have breakfast at the Hula Grill Restaurant. It was Saturday morning, so we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, which was a reasonable amount of time. Our server was Ashley. She was polite, attentive and efficient. I ordered a Kama ‘aina omelet and my wife ordered a acai bowl. Both... More

We are staying at the Outrigger so the Hula Grill is in our building. The food is fresh and delish - I love the fish tacos so good and the pineapple brulee is perfection in a pineapple! Staff are friendly, informative and great with suggestions - an overall excellent experience.

Our reservation turned out (due to a somewhat late flight) to be right after our arrival, after an 8h flight. It was a great way to relax - our table had a lovely view of the ocean, with nice breezes. Service was professional, and our food (seafood) was excellent. We had a very positive experience here. It's a bit pricey,... More

We were at Hula Grill with a fairly large group and it was a perfect menu to suit a lot of tastes. The views of the beach from the outside tables on the terrace are great. Our favorite dishes were the tuna tacos and the hula pie.

I found Hula Grill about 5 years ago and love eating there. The view is very nice. I like eating breakfast there and dinner. FOR dinner there fish is local so you do not know till late afternoon what they will have. We had Mahi Mahi (sp? fish, it was wonderful the staff is very nice.

This is a lovely restaurant in the Outrigger Hotel. We began with cocktails (Hanauma Bay Breeze and a Wrong Isle Tea) that were so good, we had two more! We shared the Kabayaki Duroc Ribs appetizer that was wonderful. My lovely wife had the fish special while I had the macadamia nut fresh monchong, a light and flaky whitefish that... More

We stayed at the Outrigger and was truly delighted to have the Hula Grill on our location. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here. The waitstaff is professional and pleasant. The atmosphere was divine. We booked the breakfast for our stay when we booked the hotel and were truly glad we did.

We walked in right around 5pm and got seated immediately close to the edge so we could watch the sunset. The fish had an almond crust and was so delicious. Service was good along with the view. Great last meal while we were in Waikiki. It looked like they had a good little bar area too. I'd go back.

A good alternative to Duke's as it's just upstairs. Same view, good service, food, and drinks. We wait there for our table at Duke's and enjoy their appetizers and drinks. We still prefer Duke's better menu and salad bar, but sometimes the wait downstairs is too long or you just can't get a reservation at a reasonable time.

Sit up here for sunset and request a table on the rail (expect to wait). When I first moved here, I was upset because I requested a table on the rail for myself and I was given an indoor table after waiting for 40 minutes (like everyone else). The person who seated me told me that people who were solo... More
