Started out by going to have appies and listen to the music under the banyan tree. The weather decided we were moving to a table inside. Ended up ordering dinner. We both had the mahi mahi which was so tender and delicious. We ordered the famous coconut cake which was light and fluffy. Would definitely go back again for a... More

Would recommend if staying in house and want quick light lunch. Sashimi, tuna ahi n coconut prawns a hit. Aperol spritz were made to perfection and kicked off a nice casual lunch by the pool. No real view because the hedge block the beach side location vista but had a good buzz and would go back.

We got there early, around 4:00pm and sat out on the patio. The patio and views are beautiful. We ordered drinks and a few appetizers. At 5:30pm the hula show started, which had great music and a beautiful dancer. We watched a beautiful sunset and enjoyed the views of Diamond Head. A sign stated that they would charge a cover... This place reminds me off evening dinner cruises on the rivers in NY or Paris. The view is spectacular but the food is extremely sub par. We both ordered the "daily fish" special that came with a giant brown baked potato with sour cream, chives, bacon bits (Wendys $1 baked potato style) - What restaurant serves that? The appetizer was... More

Special I visited House Without A Key at the Halekulani twice on my recent trip to Hawaii; on the first day I arrived and the day before I left! Both times we went for lunch and I had the Halekulani Signature "Joy's Special" and a Lychee martini. Delectable! The sandwich (crab, avocado & bacon) was delicious, so much flavour. The... More

This place is a must for both visitors and locals. Beautiful Hawaiian music, classic hula dancers, cocktails and Ono pupus combine with a setting on Waikiki beach. You can't get better than this. It's on the pricey side but we always just forgo dinner and bathe in the environment and soft tradewinds and gentle Hawaiian music with a glass of... More

We went to listen to the music, enjoy the view, have some cocktails and later dinner but due to poor service we didn't make dinner. Upon sitting down for cocktails we informed the staff that we would be having dinner later, as instructed. We let them know we were ready to eat, and we were a little shocked to say... More

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. Great food, great service, and an amazing view. What else do you want? I'm eating gluten-free since the last time I visited a couple years ago and they did their best to accommodate me and let me know what dishes were safe to eat.

Going to the House without a key is about the music and view and neither disappoint, great place to see the sun go down... The menu is a little limited and pricey but the food is good. Cocktails are excellent and a good value given the size!

This part of the Halekulani hotel gives you the best view of Diamond Head on the island. Drinks are generously poured and are very good. The Halekulani gives a free hula show here every evening and it truly gives you the Hawaii spirit. Service is attentive. Don't visit Honolulu without coming here. You won't regret it. Hawaii at its best... More
