A friend recommended this restaurant. It was not easy to find but persistence paid off. The Hua Trees are over 200 years old and the restaurant is on the terrace where Robert Louis Stevenson visited frequently. My lunch was so good that I returned for dinner. The Chef's Prix Fix selection with the accompanying wine selection is excellent.

We haven't eaten here since our last visit 6 years ago and for both of us it was better than we remembered. I was aching for fish and not disappointed in the sashimi, followed by the local snapper with crab and avocado. The man settled on soup of the day and grilled Mahi Mahi and declared both excellent. Really good... More

We were in Oahu for a one week vacation and decided to visit Hau Tree Lanai on our last day. Make sure to book online in advance to avoid disappointment. The food was delicious. We tried a salmon benedict and a French toast and shared. The portions were large, the flavours excellent. Staff were attentive. We didn't have a better... More

Book ahead to get a table under the trees. But can't go wrong no matter where you sit. Try the eggs benedict - best anywhere.

We really enjoy this restaurant. The setting is Old Hawaii, and the food is good, especially the breakfast. It's not inexpensive, but it's yummy.

Live music, authentic hula, excellent drinks, 5-star service and a world famous menu all add up to a sensational anniversary night out. It doesn't get any better.

Located along the beach just outside of Waikiki in the New Otani Hotel, the restaurant space is charming and romantic. The service was attentive and and the food was mostly good. Crab cakes and seafood platter were nice, but a caprese appetizer with flavorless underripe tomatoes (in August ?!) was a disappointment. I found the prices to be high, even... More

With the dining tables being tucked within a grove of beautiful, unique trees, over looking the ocean front, it makes dining a very pleasant experience!

The restaurant is located in The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, an ideal place to start the day, enjoy a leisurely lunch or a romantic sunset dinner.
