Book ahead to get a table under the trees. But can't go wrong no matter where you sit. Try the eggs benedict - best anywhere.

Wonderful setting Under the Hau Tree looking out at blue Hawaii in front of Waikiki with the Waianae Mountain range backdrop. Very good food and excellent service!

We really enjoy this restaurant. The setting is Old Hawaii, and the food is good, especially the breakfast. It's not inexpensive, but it's yummy.

Live music, authentic hula, excellent drinks, 5-star service and a world famous menu all add up to a sensational anniversary night out. It doesn't get any better.

Located along the beach just outside of Waikiki in the New Otani Hotel, the restaurant space is charming and romantic. The service was attentive and and the food was mostly good. Crab cakes and seafood platter were nice, but a caprese appetizer with flavorless underripe tomatoes (in August ?!) was a disappointment. I found the prices to be high, even... More

With the dining tables being tucked within a grove of beautiful, unique trees, over looking the ocean front, it makes dining a very pleasant experience!

Great romantic spot for drinks or dinner under an old lovely tree as you watch the beach and sailing ships passing by. We ordered the crab cakes as a starter and Mixed Grill & MahiMahi for mains - all met and surpassed expectations. The cocktails were the only dissapointment as 2 of the 3 we ordered were just heavy alcohol... More

There are so many good restaurants in Honolulu, the only reason to eat at this one is the lovely setting. Service was not great, food was truly mediocre, and prices are outrageously high.

We were treated to a fabulous breakfast here by friends. We were staying in Waikiki, so walk was about 20mins. This might not seem much, but with heat in Hawaii, you do find yourself planning both journey to destinations and back to accommodation. We went in our swimmers with tidy cover-overs and jandals (to comply with 'dress-code'). The food was... More
