We went here based on other TA reviews. Maybe it was a bad day or Chef was sick or something else went wrong. The staff were not interested, the food was ordinary at best, and the general cleanliness was dreadful. There were very few other...More

Our cab found the resraurant easily. I enjoyed the escargot - but not the opichi poke. An OK place, but not worth the trip.

Fabulous local spot outside of Waikiki. Food and atmosphere were wonderful. They are known for their rice and now I know why. Will definitely go back if we're ever in the area again.

First night we arrived we decided to go to Side Street Inn and it was worth the cab ride. It was interesting, delicious and way too much food even though we shared the dishes. Great place.

We came on the recommendation of a friend who used to live in Honolulu. But when we pulled up, we were doubting our dinner choice. (Not the best looking street) We decided to take a chance and go inside. So glad we did! The dishes...More

This is one of the best restaurants in Honolulu. The food quantity and quality is excellent. Dinner is the best time to eat at this place.

We have visited this restaurant several times and the food is always excellent. The servings are family style. The service is also great!

Based on reviews we tried side street inn last night, tried the much lauded blackened ahi with the fried rice. Blackened Ahi $25.00 for 7 slices of tough, dry, tasteless fish, served with veryhot mustard that overwhelmed what should have been the delicate flavour of...More

Yes they take reservations. Just to let you know, it's valet parking after 5pm. Prior to that, you can self park in the parking garage across the street or find street parking. Also, the portions are huge! If you order fried... More

Absolutely! The portions are large. We ordered 3 dishes. Our group of 4 could not finish cleaning the plates.

I agree with most people here, they are very friendly and I'm sure would be happy to accommodate a plain steak or pork chops.
