Amazing food- they had me at crab Mac n cheese. Try the poke sampler with the chili water- incredible!

This is a great place to enjoy large portions with a large group of people. It's a good place to catch a football or basketball game. The food is OK bar fare.

We were warned the is alway crowded but because we just got off a plane we went for diner at 3pm. Consequently, we came when they just opened and missed the crowds.😀 We ordered fried rice with Chinese sausage, ranch salad, and their porkchop. Best fried rice I ever tasted.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Once inside you realize you are eating with family and friends. Food is served family style--so go with a group and be hungry. We go once or twice each visit and always order the same. Fried rice, fried chicken and farmers salad with shrimp. Yummy. Not the healthiest selections but always our favorites. Cannot... More

This is where lots of locals get together to eat. Family style comfort food. Always one of my favorite places to eat whenever in Honolulu.

Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The only place we ate at twice while we were in Waikiki. No view, but they make up for it with good food. Go early in the evening (5:30/6) to get seating or else you'll be waiting a while. Highly recommend the Korean BBQ ribs and fried rice. Yum!

Side Street Inn on Hopaka St sure isn't much to look at from the outside. It certainly is on a side street mostly industrial area, but the food..... thats where they excel! Fried tuna belly, yes its amazing. The huge basket of crispy garlic fries and cold beer with sports on the tv screens, awesome. The kalua pig sliders are... More

This is always one of my favorite places to stop in Honolulu as it's super casual and has great food. The problem is that I want to order absolutely everything but the portions are so large that I can't possibly. The pork chops are a MUST and although I replicate their fried rice at home, it goes SO well with... More

We went on some local advise as they have specials after 10pm. The Spicy Garlic Chicken was amazing and one plate was easily enough for 2. We also had their Poke and it was great along with some fried rice. Their spicy dip that comes in a Patron bottle was great with the Poke.

It's a great little side street find. The farm salad was fantastic to start. The lite Size was just enough for two and not enough for three. Get the large one for three or more. The Ahi Poke was great. But you may want to ask them to back off on the soy a bit. The second order had way... More
