Was really impressed with the Asian/Italian fusion pasta dishes. Service was helpful in deciding on what to eat and very attentive. The raw potato salad was deliciously interesting and worth trying. There vanilla bean crème Brule was light but delicious. Plan to go again. Note: This restaurant has since moved to 1108 12th Ave. in the Kaimuki area of Honolulu.

We met for dinner with daughter and teenage grandkids. Angelo Pietro was a little hard to find since I couldn't see the sign until we were in the pay parking lot. It's a little tucked away, and it's not that big. The kids had raw potato salad which is potato shredded into almost rice noodle consistency. It's not my favorite... More

This place is popular with families. It offers a variety of Italian dishes but also Japanese/Italian for a difference. You can't try them all even if there looks like some really interesting choices. I did the Pescatore and even though it says tomato sauce they asked what type of sauce your wanted. So it expanded the menu options even more.... More

Angelo Pietro recently re-opened in a new, smaller location in Kaimuki. A group of 6 of us...The Supper Club...revisited this excellent restaurant. We opened with the Raw Potato Salad and entrees included Carbonara in cream sauce, Chicken in basil sauce and Eggplant/Bacon in garlic oil sauce. The kitchen has not lost it's touch, food was as good, if not better.... More

The food I had (shrimp & mushroom w/ Japanese cream sauce) was underwhelming but fortunately the serving was small enough that I was able to finish it because it was not worth the box to take leftovers home. Japanese cream must be about the consistency of skim or fat-free milk, I guess. I had 4 tiny shrimp and my friend... More

Angelo Pietro has always been good, but the flavors have seemed to have gotten better after their recent move. The manager said the chefs went back to Japan to be retrained and it shows in the taste. New restaurant is much smaller and the acoustics not as good but no problem with parking or Ala Moana traffic.

This is such a difficult review to compose. I have happy memories of the old location on Kapiolani Boulevard. My sisters and I would celebrate family birthdays there because of the great service and reasonable prices. I'm not sure what happened between that time and now at the present Kaimuki location. I was looking forward to dining with friends, Terry,... More

I have gone to this place many times. This is one of my favortie places to visit when I am on Oahu. It is a wonderful fusion of Japanese and Italian Cuisine. You can make your own combinations for your pasta dish, with a number of different sauces. Their salads and appetizers are awesome. When they give you your bread,... More

mouthwatering fusion of japanese and italian cuisine, particularly with the spaghetti dishes. recommend the pork and eryngii spicy pasta, tarako and ika pasta, mixed mushroom pasta, and the chicken and eggplant ginger-orosi pasta. also recommend dipping your bread in the salad dressings rather than using the butter.

We had planned to go to Shoduko's, as that was highly rated. But when we got there it was an hour and a half wait. Pietro's was right next door, with no wait, so we thought we'd try it. It had a very unique mix of foods on the menu. From outside it looked like a pizza place, and did... More
